Aaron's POV
I was actually beyond baffled right now.
"I guess i have a lot of explaining to do" mum started
"Uh yh, yh you do"
Jaydene came to the door
"Oh hi Marco" she smiled
"Cool Jaydene? Congratulations btw"
She looked down to her ring and smiled making me smile
"Thank you"
"You two are getting married?"
"Yh" i replied bluntly
Jaydene looked at me just as baffed as i was.
"Oh this is my mum"
"Oh... um hi im Jaydene"
"Hi, how long have you been dating Aaron?"
"For about 6 years"
"Ohhh okay"
Jaydene smiled weekly.
I was so confused right now. How is she having general convo likes say she didnt just turn up at my door with my day one.
I cleared my throat and let them into the house.
Jaydene led my mum into the living room. I stopped Marco at the door
"What the fuck is going on?"
He shrugged "only god knows"
"So we have the same mum"
"I guess" he shrugged again
"Ahh i fucking hate her"
We walked into the living room and i sat next to Jaydene. Marco sat next to me and she sat on the sofa opposite.
We looked at her waiting to explain
"Well, when you two were born, me and your dad split up and he took Marco and i kept Aaron-"
"So we're twins?"
"Yh"
I looked at Marco and he looked at me.
"Now that you say it, you two actually look very much alike" Jaydene said looking at both of us
My mum smiled
"Well, i was still inlove with your dad so i always kept going round to his house, that's why you've always been left with my sister and then she started a family of her own and you was left by yourself-"
I laughed and shook my head
"What?" She asked
"So what you're telling me is that my day one is my twin brother and you've lived less than 20minutes away with my dad, that I've never met and you couldn't even come over?"
She kept quiet. I shook my head
"If i knew-" Marco started
"I know" i nodded at him
"So because you were inlove, with someone who didnt love you, you left your son?"
"Well he loves me now-"
"Are you being serious?" I chuckled
"That's actually out of order" Marco said
"Don't start on me because you guys didnt even know you were twins!"
"Yh well we've been brothers since day one"
"Literally"
"Aaron im sorry"
I shook my head "sorry?" I laughed "do you really think that changes anything? Sorry is just a word. I am 21 years old, ive finished school, im gonna get married and now you're telling me i have a twin and you think its okay to just walk back into my life? Nahh man"
"Aaron-"
"Kl Aaron-" Amari walked in "mum?! Wtf is going on here?!"
I shrugged "you tell me. Did you know i had a twin?" I smiled sarcastically
He looked at Marco "you two are twins?"
"According to her" i said pointing my head at mum
He shook his head
"Oh yh our dads alive" i smiled
He raised an eyebrow "so you're tellin me that she just wants to walk in like say she didnt disappear for 20,21 years?" He spoke about our mum like she wasn't here
I shrugged "guess so"
I saw the anger grow in his face. I shook my head
"Do you realise that's fucked up?" He turned to her
"Amari stop swearing please"
He chuckled "you know that you was hardly there when i was little either coz you wanted to go out and have sex coz you were like 18 and thought dad didnt know. Yh that's why he left you mate"
"I just wanted to make things right"
Me and Amari started laughing "its abit too late for that"
Marco smiled and shook his head "this is actually messed up. Idc if you and dad were there for me when i was younger but leaving Aaron and Str-, Amari because you were "in love"" he did the bunny ears with his fingers "is actually fucked"
"Amari was my dad and my Aunty was my mum. Idk who the fuck you were"
"True" Amari said
"Whos older out of both of us, jw if you remembered. Or were you too busy running after dad?" Marco asked
I smiled that's a good one. We're actually so much alike.
"Kl Marco?"
Everyone looked to the door
"Yh dad"
I raised an eyebrow
"Amari you've grown"
Amari gave him the peakest screw. He looked towards me. Tbh i just want to shoot someone right now, Jaydene's here though so i have to stay calm. She don't like when im angry and I'd do anything to keep my baby happy.
"Kl Aaron?"
Is this man being serious. I havent seen him ever in my life or even enough to remember him and this is how he wants to greet me. Jaydene put her hand ontop of mine. I guess she could see the anger in my face. I looked at Amari. He looked just as pissed as me.
