"Ushijima-senpai, I like you! Please go out with me!" A girl shyly confessed to Ushijima, under the Sakura tree. There was a moment of silence before he spoke. "I'm...sorry. I'm not interested in anyone" A tear escaped from the girl's eyes, she sobbed and ran away. Ushijima looked at her pitifully before he went back to his class.
(Y/n) was in the library studying, after a while she stretched herself. She stood up from her chair and walked toward the window. (Y/n) took a deep breath and looked at the Sakura tree, she smiled, trying to catch the flying petals. Then, she saw a girl running away from Ushijima and (Y/n) sighed. "Again?" annoyed (Y/n) said and sighed again.
Yesterday, girls from different classes tried to confess to Ushijima but he rejected them too. "Why is he so popular these days?" (Y/n) questioned herself, raising one of her eyebrows. Thinking deeply about Ushijima.
"What are you looking at?" A voice spoke behind her, startling the jams out of her. (Y/n) turns around and her eyes widen "Toshi! You scared me!" (Y/n) said, holding her breath. "Sorry" Ushijima apologizes and softly smiles at her. "What were you thinking about? I saw you spacing out and looking at the Sakura tree annoyed" Ushijima said to her, leaning against the bookshelf, crossing his arms.
(Y/n) deeply sighed before answering him "You rejected another girl, right?" There was a momentary silence before slowly nodding his head. "This is the fifth girl you rejected, Toshi" "I know, It just I'm not interested in love" "Toshi-" Before (Y/n) can continue, the school bell rang. "See you later at the school gate" Ushijima waves at her and went to his class. (Y/n) sighed again, packing her book, and left for her class.
(Y/n) is the closest friend of Ushijima. They met at the park, Ushijima was cold, quiet, and distant while (Y/n) was the opposite of him, she was a cheerful, noisy, and extroverted kid. One day, (Y/n) was outside playing hide and seek and suddenly a group of boys came and bullied her. Ushijima notices her and saves her. Ushijima grabs her hand and runs away with him. They ended up at the park and hid behind a big tree. From then, they became friends, and (Y/n) changed him.
"(Y/n) are you going home now?" Asked one of her classmates as she stood up from her seat. "Yeah, Toshi must be waiting for me" (Y/n) grins, ready to head out to meet Ushijima. "Then, See you tomorrow" Her classmate waved at her "Mhm, See ya" (Y/n) waved back and headed out.
"Toshi!" (Y/n) shouts his name while running toward him. "Have you been waiting long?" (Y/n) asked him while panting "No, I just got here" Ushijima replied with a little smile and started walking home together.
