"Oi! Kageyama!" Shouted a tangerine boy, waving his hand in front of him. The blueberry boy snapped back to his reality as he realizes he was daydreaming. "Are you okay?" Sugawara asked him as he approached him. Kageyama has been daydreaming all day, thinking about what he should get for his lovely queen.
"I'm fine, I have been thinking what should I get for (Y/n)" Kageyama said to them as he took the volleyball ball. "Right, (Y/n)'s birthday is near" Daichi joined the conversation as he stretched his arms. "What? (Y/n)-san's birthday is near?!" Nishinoya shouted as he popped out of nowhere. "Well, yeah?"
"Oh my! What should I get for her..?" Nishinoya mumbled, thinking hard about what should he get for his best friend. "What about a necklace or ring, Kageyama?" Hinata suggests him with a smile. "A ring that has a meaning!" Sugawara suggested him. "A ring.."
The next day, Kageyama walked out of his house to the jewelry store. He was looking around, trying a perfect jewel for his lovely queen. Looking around a perfect ring caught his eyes, it was a flashy, sparkling diamond ring at a very good price. He took a look at it with a smile and bought the ring.
Walking home after buying a present for his girlfriend, he saw his girlfriend standing in front of his door. He back hugged her and smiled "I caught you," He said with a soft smile "You caught me" She smiled back at him as he unlocked his door.
"You were outside..?" She asked him as she walked inside, taking her shoes off. "Y-Yeah" He nervously chuckles. She walked inside his living room and sat down on the couch while Kageyama sat next to her, laying his head on her shoulder. "Say, what do you want to do?" Kageyama asked her, taking her hand and playing with it.
"It's up to you, Tobio" (Y/n) softly grinned, looking at her hand. "Do you want to watch a movie?" He raised his head, looking at her with a soft smile. "Okay! You can choose the movie, I will go take a blanket and make a popcorn" (Y/n) said as she stood up, leaving to the kitchen. "Alright!"
Kageyama starts choosing a movie as he found a good movie for both of them. He took his remote control and went over to his couch, waiting patiently for his girlfriend. Soon, she came back with a bowl of popcorn and a blanket. She smiled and sat down next to him as he covered both of them with the blanket.
He started the movie as they watched while eating the popcorn. In the middle of the movie, Kageyama excused himself and went to the bathroom without his realizing it, he dropped the red box on the couch. (Y/n) saw the box and stopped the movie. Her eyes got wide when she opened the box and saw a beautiful diamond ring inside.
Kageyama came back from the bathroom and saw his girlfriend holding the red box. He realized he dropped it. "O-Oh, (Y/n)" He nervously said and sat next to her. "Who is the ring for?" She calmly asked him as she gave him the red box. Kageyama hesitates at first but then took a deep sigh.
"(Y/n), My Queen, I know your birthday is in a few days but since you already saw the ring..." He opened the box and took out the ring "I want to give you this ring, a promise ring, when we will graduate, I will marry you. Do you keep the promise?" He asked her, showing the ring with a smile. (Y/n)'s tears started falling out of nowhere as she gladly accepted the ring with a wide smile.
"I promise, Tobio, I promise"
He slid the ring on her ring finger and embraced her tightly. "I promise, I will make you the happiest girl in the world and I promise, I will give you in the future a happy family" He spoke to her, looking at her in the eyes. He leaned closer and gave her a sweet yet passionate kiss.
Their lips move in rhythm as their heart beat continuously in the beat.
