Chapter 1

"You are really hot!!!"
"Gosh, I love all your pics!!!"

It was 14:00 when Stern had gotten these messages. Very rarely did people message him and when they did, it would be to ask favours out of him. And definitely, nobody had ever messaged him at this time of the day. The notification sound had made him wonder who it could be. He picked up the mobile and went straight to Instagram and into the DMs.

A third message "Can I get your number?" came in.

He wanted to see if it was someone he knew and so he went to the profile.
'Gloria' read the profile name. Only two images had been uploaded. They were blurry and shady and so he didn't bother checking them individually. He wasn't sure if it was an authentic account or if someone had decided to spam him. Right when he was about to close the app, a fourth message flies in.

"Please reply. I know you have seen my messages."

Stern didn't want to give his number straight away to a complete stranger. He decided to neglect that message and respond to the other two.

His parents were rich. So he had grown in an elitist atmosphere. He had friends but they were with him only in parties, celebrations, and other fancy stuff that the rich take part in. Beyond those things, they would stay distant as if they didn't know him. All of this was long time ago. After he had graduated, he had gotten so busy with work that he had barely spoken with anyone.

When he was thinking about all of this,

"Helloooo??" came the message.

"Erm, thanks." he replied.

"I really wanna see you in person.
Let's meet.
Let's hangout."

Woah! Woah! He had not anticipated this. Minutes had passed since the last message and he didn't know what to reply.

"I understand your thoughts. It is only natural to think that it is spam.
But you don't have to worry.
I am real.
I am just so attracted to you and I didn't want to hold back my thoughts.
Let us meet.
After that, if you didn't like me, I would understand.
I promise to not force you into this.
We can be friends.
Or not. If you don't want to, that is."

Stern read the message. It helped him to stop freaking out. Something about the message had made him a little confident. Nobody had spoken with him like that, not the closest of them. And here was, a stranger, telling him that. Something made him think that he could rely on this person. He wanted to know. What harm would meeting a person bring? he thought.

"Yeah, sure. I guess we could."

"Awesomeee! I'll meet you there then. I know how you look, but you don't.
You'll know when you see me. I'll be in pink.
