'Dodge, Y/N!'

It was a close call, luckily I dodged in time. But before I could take any breaks, Hongjoong and Jongho were shooting another set of blasts. This time with full force.

I tried to concentrate on where the blasts were coming from. The sounds of the loading blasts, became more clearer to hear. That was the only thing I could do since my vision was darkened by a thick piece of fabric. According to Hongjoong this should help me to concentrate better and rely on my instincts.

After the blasts were shot, I managed to dodge Jongho's blast but Hongjoong's blast connected with my leg, causing me to collapse and to land on my hands and knees. The strength to pull myself back up was no longer there.

'Y/N!' I groaned in pain as I saw Jessa came running at me, checking the wound in my right leg.

'Y/N. You should rest. Guys, please stop, she needs rest!' Jessa pleaded. I just ignored her plead, ripped off the blindfold and tried to get back up which failed because of the amount of blood I've lost.

Hongjoong clearly enjoyed seeing me helplessly squirm on the ground since he was aiming his hand again, trying to send out another blast. Fortunately for me, Jongho stopped him in time and quickly ran towards me.

'Jessa is right. You should rest. Do I need to get San for you?' I immediately refused and grabbed Jessa her shoulder to lean on.

'Aawh. It was about to get interesting.' Hongjoong pouted and kicked the grass. He quickly vanished afterwards and Jongho followed. I was stumbling towards the living room as Jessa gently put me down on the couch, looking at my wounds.

'You are badly hurt. Are you sure that you don't need San right now?' I refused again but I knew he stood in the kitchen, staring at me and my wound. The thump in my heart quickly persuaded me to turn my head towards him but I didn't want to look at him at that point.

'Let me look at it.' He teleported towards me and crouched to check my leg. He caressed my leg with his soft hands. I secretly missed his touch but hissed at him for going over my wound.

'Damn it, San! That hurts!'

He ignored my complaint and called Wooyoung over. He gave him some directions for the first-aid kit and as he got the kit, he wrapped up my leg with some bandaging. He nodded as soon he was done and quickly vanished. Jessa looked at my disappointed face and joined me on the couch.

'You have to talk to him eventually, Y/N. You can't avoid him forever.' Jessa was right.

When we were at the beach, I had a wonderful time with San but when the time came for him to make us official, I thought I would be happy but I wasn't. Not exactly. I was hesitating after I saw the "normal" couples. It made me doubt every decision up to that evening. San didn't know I was doubting. I couldn't give him the answer he wanted to hear so I decided to ran off. After that little drama, we drove back towards their rental. The drive back felt awkward. We didn't speak to each other at all.
