A friend.
Sorry, a new friend
Takes you to the end
Right?
Mm, let's test the waters
First.

Switching on the light, I stepped in to zip the bag. I locked the stall door, closed the toilet seat, and sat on it, not forgetting to clean it first.
I placed the laptop on my bag, which was on my lap, and inserted the pen drive. Typing the password, I checked the time to know how many seconds I'd use to finish this so that no one suspected anything.
Just sixty seconds. One, two, start! I can do this.
The pen drive's settings popped up on the screen. I pressed the removable disc and scanned the files in front of me, looking for a folder.
Seeing the class of 2020 - Grade 12, I tapped it, waiting for the information to flow through. Spotting the names I had intended to get, I quickly copied the file and sent it to my laptop.
Checking the time, I had fifteen seconds left, my legs shook nervously, and my hands went to the hem of my top as I waited. When it had successfully downloaded unto the laptop, I removed the pen drive, logged off, and closed the computer, putting everything into my bag except for the pen drive.
I held it in my hand tightly before zipping my bag. Standing up, I placed it in my back pocket, unlocked the stall and washed my hands, then strolled out of the washroom.
"What took you so long? You think we can wait for you the whole day, erh?" I chuckled and smiled; at least I was successful with my first mission.
"No, ma just had to take my time not to cause trouble for myself and jeans."
"Hm, I've heard. Carry the luggage, let's go."
Taking it, we sauntered straight to the hostel in silence. Opening my room door, we were hit by the cold air. It radiated through my body, making me shiver a little.
Taking in a sharp breath, I glanced at my mum, knowing that she was not going to like the cold room at all. It was not that she hated it, but we all knew what a cold substance could do to our body, so being the only child meant that health was supposed to my priority.
A brunette was on a bed, her earphones sticking to her ears. She had an iPad in front of her but pulled her eyes off it to look at us. She had piercing blue eyes, not those that made you float in the air or whatever, but they were intense, and I felt like she was seeing passed my skin.
She grinned and got up from where she was sitting to greet my mum before turning to face me, "hello, I'm Vanessa, and you must be the Adelia I've been waiting for."
"Yes, I am," I said awkwardly.
Noticing the broad smile on my mum and secretary's face, I grinned back at her, "nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you too," I uttered.
She went to help my mum with my bag as I was taken to the other side of the room where my bed was. I dropped my things by the wardrobe I was intended to.
