Arnav has searched the whole house but could not find any trace of Khushi anywhere. She has left her mobile in the room and have not informed anybody in the house.
It was afternoon time now and already 3 hours has passed him searching her. Arnav have even looked for her in their usual temple near the house. When he entered their room , thinking to wait for her arrival , he found her in the room itself. He immediately shouted at her holding arms tightly.
"Khushi where were you !!! What kind of attitude is this... Everyone is worried about you and you are roaming somewhere without informing any of us "
"Do you know how much worried I was, I thought... I thought I have lost you, why aren't you saying something dammit!!! Say something ... Kuch toh bolo"
Khushi waved his hand away from her and started rubbing her arms. She looked at him angrily and said
" Why do you care if I am lost or if I am hurt ... Aapko toh koi farak nehi parna chahiye... Waise bhi hum rahe ya na rahe aap toh kuch farak hi nahi parta ... Kuch dino me hum yaha se chale jayenge aapko humari fikar karneki koi zaroorat nahi ... Suna aapne"
" Hum laga aap toh ab tak office ja chuke honge ... Waise se bhi humain kya.. Aapka kaam hai aap hi samjhe ... Hum Abhi thora rest karna chahate hain"
Saying so she went to lay down in the bed but Arnav stopped her and said
"Where were you ... You did not answer my question... Tumhe pata hai maine tumhe kaha dundha hai.. baatao pehele phi tum rest lena"
Khushi replied " Hum Mandir me the"
Arnav - " Par maine toh dekha tha but tum mujhe nahi dekhaiyee diye"
Khushi - " Humne kab kaha hum iss wale Mandir gaye the ...hum doosri Mandir gaye the ... Highway ke paas wali... Ab toh hum aaram kar sakte hai ya fir iske liye bhi anumati lagega aapka"
Saying that she laid facing back towards Arnav. After so many day she has seen this care from Arnav . But she knew this will only remain with her for few days only. A tear drop from her eyes feeling this painful feeling.
Arnav on the other hand just realised that she has already started to count her days in this house and have started to retreat herself from every relationship that she has gained after marrying him. He has already planned to set everything fine before she leaves this house but this time he would show her how much he wants her in his life and let her decide whether to stay or not.
Next day Arnav went to his office early as Aman has informed him that the report has arrived.
From the report, he has come to know that Shyam is already married to a girl named Amrita and also has a daughter of 5 year. Hearing the name Amrita triggered his memory almost 7 years back when he has just started his career .
His Di was always friendly and had many friends in her college times . He remembered Amrita to be the best friend of his Di and used to visit their house. At his Di's 25th Birthday party, she has started to approach him . She knew Arnav was not interested in any kind of relationship. He used to always avoid her but one sudden day she has confessed her feelings for him and then he has straight away denied her and said that he is nor will be ever interested in this type of relationship and also she is bigger than him , she should maintain her dignity instead of throwing herself on him.
That was the last time he has met her . He has afterwards gone to Harvard for his studies. He was still not sure if this Amrita was same one. He called Aman to get more details about this Amrita and both Amrita and Shyam's motive behind this treachery.
Meanwhile Arnav also needed to concentrate on Khushi and his ways to apologise for his mistakes ... No sins.
He quickly finished his work and went home early . He was planning to take Khushi for a dinner date and confess his crimes. He also intend to ask Di about her friend Amrita.
As planned Arnav has completed his activity and has reached home for lunch. While eating his lunch , he suddenly announced
"Nani ... One of my clients wants to have a dinner meeting and he has invited my wife knowing that I got married without any prior notice... So we would not be having dinner at home tonight"
Khushi who was serving food to everyone , suddenly stopped and said
" What will I do in your meeting... Waise bhi hum toh unhe jante tak nahi... I would get bored there..."
Rest of family members has already started intervening and have made Khushi agreed to go meet his client.
Arnav shows a relief about his plan and quickly planned the rest of the arrangements. He then went towards his Di's room and saw only his Di was present and reading some books. He went and sat beside his Di and asked
"Di are you doing fine... Is there any issue with the baby..."
Anjali- " I am fine Chhote... Don't worry... Tell me , Is everything fine between you and Khushiji"
Arnav- " Everything is fine... Di I was thinking ... I didn't see your friends hanging around you when I came from US ... Was there any problem"
Anjali felt uneasy at this question. Arnav again asked " I clearly remember you used have a lot of friends... A girl name Amrita was your best friend , you both were like sister.... What happened to her"
Anjali now got angry and replied...
" How can that gold digger be my friend... All the friends that I made in college were behind my money Chhote ... I heard them talking once behind my back and realised this"
Arnav was now very clear about what he has to do to make his Di see the reality of Shyam Manohar Jha.
