A/N: I JUST THOUGHT OF SOMETHING PERFECT FOR REDD TO SAY TO ISABELLE WHEN SHE GOES TO CUT HIS HAIR AND IM DYING OMG HJSHDJAGHFSD BAHAHA

Tom POV:

Blathers had dragged Isabelle from Resident Services before she was able to finish speaking. I saw them talk frantically as he dragged her away, and at one point he stopped and put his hands on her shoulders. God, those two should get together already, everyone can see they like each other. As they disappeared out of my sight, I pondered as to what Isabelle had said, something about the secret beach and a mystery man? Maybe it had been Gulliver, though Isabelle was well aware that he always ended up stranded on the beach when he fell over-board... had she mentioned anything else? Yes, yes, she had, red hair had been mentioned. I only knew one person with red hair, but I didn't want to think about him, not ever again. However, I was sceptical, so I decided it was in my best interest to find out once and for all what was going on. If I was correct, the secret beach was to the north-west of the airport, which was a fifteen minute walk from here to there. Well, I might as well, it was my lunch break after all.

On my way there, I passed the Island Representative, Aurora, and she turned to me with a frown.

"Tom, may you please tell Ankha that if she keeps losing her bracelets in the bamboo onsen, I will personally superglue them to her wrists." I chuckled at her, which made her frown turn even more severe. "I'm not joking Tom, I've ruined several pairs of shoes looking for them!" I turned towards her and smiled. "I'll make sure to tell her that word for word Aurora." Aurora was stern, and looked like she  didn't want to be here time to time,  but she also got the job done, and was attempting to become firm friends with Raymond, however much he disagreed."You better Tom. I'm not forking out another 1,200 bells for some more shoes." A snort from behind told me I wasn't the only one listening to her pointless rambling. "Give it a rest, Aurora, Ankha can't help being forgetful." The deep voice belonged to Wilbur, the only person brave enough to stand up to Aurora and her sometimes rude rants. "Not everyone is able to remember every little thing like you." Aurora narrowed her eyes and opened her mouth to retort, before Wilbur cut her off. "And don't call me an asshole." With that he a spun on his heel and walked away. "I was going to call you a tosser!" I snorted again and turned around and walked in the opposite direction. Those two needed to get a room, they argued constantly, but anyone could tell that they were into each other.

Making my way over the rocks that blocked the easy path to the secret beach, a thick plume of smoke rose from a dingy looking boat. Odd, nobody had said anything about a boat when Isabelle went around early this morning gathering complaints. A boat would be at the top of Aurora's list, she was forever complaining about the fumes they gave off, and that sometimes fuel leaked out into the ocean. So, it was odd, but maybe she hadn't seen it yet. Whatever, I don't need her to rant and rave about it just yet, I just need to find out who the boat belongs to.

I padded over to the boat on the sand, and a rickety piece of metal looked like the only thing that could be used as makeshift stairs, so I carefully walked up them. The faint sound of French singing could be heard, and a male voice accompanied it. A familiar male voice, though I had never known him to sing.

"Non rien de rien," the voice sang along. "Je ne regrette de rien." With that I pulled aside the green tarp used for a door. I don't know what I expected to see, but it wasn't him, standing at a canvas, a paintbrush tucked behind his ear, his voice surprisingly soft as he sang along to the French song playing on the old radio. I couldn't help myself.

"Redd?!"I blurted.

He turned to me, and for once his face was something over than that arrogant smirk, it was a mask of shock.

"Tom?!"

A/N:

I'm going to make it so this story revolves around all characters! This means if you get Aurora's POV, the POV will include her mainly at the start, but it'll then go more deeply into Tom and Redd. Isabelle's POV is the start of the next chapter. Enjoy! (I'm also posting twice/three times a month!)
