The SCP Hunter

Prologue

Agent Riot / H-004
-Entry Log #1-

To be honest I'm not sure why I'm doing this but they say I need to start recording everything. So to catch you up on everything I'll start at the beginning. I work for a secret organisations call SCP foundation. My job is hunting down any abnormal occurrence and either securing it or eliminating it. I have been doing this for 20 years now. I accurately have :

1879 SCPs found and captured.
203 SCPs eliminated.

I am the only true SCP hunter left. For those who don't know SCP Hunters specialise in securing SCPs while field agents report any abnormal events and take no part in finding these entities. Before there were many hunters, all criminals with a special background. I had access to the archives and stole any records for my entry logs. This is the recording of Dr John Hughes and his assistant Hendrik picking prisoners to become SCP hunters.

Dr John : Well Hendrik I don't need to remind you why we're here.

Hendrik : I'm sorry Dr but I wasn't briefed of any of this.

Dr John : Oh really?

Hendrik : Yeah.

Dr John : Well we need to find any convicts who will be good enough to be a hunter personal.

Hendrik : Oh ok, so is there any specific requirements.

Dr John : They must have a death sentence and must not be insane.

-audio skip : Three hours-

Dr John : Alright read me the next one.

Hendrik : Ok we have prisoner 1142, Ethan Riot. He is sentence to death for 116 assassination, 457 assaults and 24 acts of arson. He was ex-military, special forces for a private organisations in the US military. When they retired him at age 39 he became a merssonary for hire and a criminal spree started which lasted for the next 9 years. He got himself arrested in one of the most dangerous and secure prisons in world just so he can kill his target.

Dr John : And?

Hendrik : It says here that he started a prison riot causing 15 deaths and 36 injured.

Dr John : That's a small number for a prison.

Hendrik : That's because Ethan Riot started it and ended it.

Dr John : How?

Hendrik : *galp* By causing all the deaths and injuries. I-witness guards say he acted like a savage demon.

Dr John : Did he kill his target.

Hendrik : The warden believes that the most mangle corpse, prisoner 289 was his target.
They could only identify the body by its prison number.

Dr John : Where is Ethan now?

Hendrik : Tadmor Prison in Palmyra.

This audio log was taken 3 days prior to my execution. They told me why they were there and who they work for. They also said that this was my chance to do good for the world but to be honest I didn't really care. When they told me about entities that was in this world I did what anyone else would do, laugh at there bullshit. Oh was I in for a surprise or what. They showed me two of the three SCPs they had at the time. SCP 002 and 003. I didn't believe anything when showed me 003 but... I don't know how to describe my emotions, thoughts and facecal expression when I saw 002. It was unlike anything one would think of. It was a turning point for me. A challenge the world had to offer. Make no mistake I don't care about humanity or any morals. I only want a purpose and with my new purpose I  became Agent Riot, now the last hunter. Now that I think of it this will all lead to my eventual AWOL of the SCP foundations.
