𝙿𝚘𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 𝚒𝚜 𝚠𝚑𝚊𝚝?!

Snape POV
I was aggravated, prided myself on having a good reason,firstly,Dumbledore just apparated back and came to his office and called me in there.I know doesn't seem like much right? WRONG! He was holding A GOD FORSAKEN BABY! And not just any baby,THE POTTER SPAWN!!!
"Hey Severus my boy,I have a favor for you,"
"Headmaster WHY IN THE HELL ARE YOU HOLDING THE POTTR BRAT?!"
"Severus this 'Potter brat' was mistreated and abused"
"Let me guess didn't get the toy he wanted?"
"Severus! If you don't believe me you can see my memories"
Then Dumbledore took out the memories and,put them in the pensive
I dove in,to be greeted with a sight of a very,very overweight child,

"Hey duddikins which car do you want,red or blue?"
The tiny whale responded,"BWOF! BWOF! WHAAAAAAAAAA!" He screamed
"Okay dudders you can have both"
She hands him both of the cars
'Where is the potter brat at?!'
"FWOOD! FWOOD! ME HUNGIE!" The whale screamed
"Okay dudders,FREAK! GET YOUR" she covers the whales ginormous ears"ASS OVER HERE YOU LAZY USELESS GOD FOR NOTHING-" she was interrupted by a closet door opening and out comes,or crawls,over to her.
The whale clapped happily,"FWEAK! FWEAK, hwah!"
'What in the nine circles of -'
"Get your lazy ass up and go clean up dudders toys!"
'There is no way in hell they are gonna make an 18 month old clean up after their cousin'
The boy then crawls over there then starts to group up all of his toys together
'WHAT'
Then a door opens,and out steps a MOTHERFUXKING WALRUS
"BOY!" The walrus yelled
"WHY IN THE HELL ARE YOU FUXING PLAYING WITH DUDDERS TOYS?!"
He then goes up to the baby and slaps him very hard on the head
The boy didn't even cry! He just crawled into a cupboard and shut the door,the walrus FUXKING LOCKED THE DOOR
"And no more food for the rest of the week!"
Then that memory ended,I just stood there,shocked.  Then was pulled out of the pensive
I just froze up when Dumbledore looked at me sadly,
"Now do you see why I took him?"
I was speechless and started shaking,because the same sort of thing happened to me,
I couldn't deal with things like this,I just couldn't and to see those eyes,Lily's eyes to go through that much torment.
"N-no t-th-tha-that n-no" I stammered still shaking
Dumbledore POV
I stood there holding the child as I watched severus start shaking,I wondered why and he started murmuring 'no',
I went into his mind surprised on how easy it was and I saw a horrible thing
(Flashback) [in Severus' POV]
Dad was playing with one of my cousins,who was 9,at this time I was 3 when my cousin  messed up the living room he decided to blame it on me,who was sleeping in their room,
"BOY!"
I heard my father yell as I jerked up from a nightmare-filled sleep,
"Y-yes da?"
"GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE"
As I did I was told to clean up the living room, my cousin picked me up,and pulled down my trousers then he took a ruler bent me over his knees and spanked me for what felt like hours,I started crying and screaming,while my dad was laughing,then he pulled my trousers back up picked me up then made me sit in a corner,for three hours
(End of flashback)
I stood there just as shocked as Severus was,I went over and gave him a calming draught,then hugged him,when he calmed down he looked at me embarrassed,
"Sorry" he murmured
"My boy, there is nothing to be sorry about" I said tears brimming my eyes
In the next few hours I talked to him,once the calming draught was out of his system,I asked him the important question
"Severus,will you take Harry Potter in your care?"
His eyes got really wide,
"WHAT?!"
