we walked to the park and sat on one of the benches. "i assume you aren't new round here but I've never seen you. do you go to the other school?" "yeah, i do, but for this year I'm transferring to your school" i say. he smiles at me and replies "well, at least you've got a friend already!" "haha yeah!" "so um olivia, do you wanna meet my friends?" "sure! i could do with knowing a few more people before tomorrow!" he smiled at me, then stood up and put out his hand. i smiles back and took it. we were walking for about 10 minutes and then we reached a pretty big house. "woah zach this is so nice!!" "haha thanks, i live here with my four best friends." "oh that's so cool!" "well should we go in?" i nodded and we walked in, my hand still in his.
"guys, I'm back and we have a guest" zach shouted at his friends. then a few seconds later i heard a load of footsteps and saw four boys come down the stairs. they all stopped and stared at me. "oh um guys, this is olivia. olivia, the one with coffee is jonah, the one with the nasa top is corbyn, the one with blue eyes and a giraffe neck and daniel, and the last one with dyed blonde hair is jack" "ok, jonah corbyn daniel and jack. nice to meet you" "soooo, how did you and zach here meet?" daniel asked me. "um so i was visiting my parents grave and then zach came in to see his brothers grave and he was upset so i went and comforted him and then we were just talking and yeah. and I'm moving to your school tomorrow" "I'm so sorry for your loss" jonah said. "well the night before school we always have a movie night, so you wanna join?" jack asked me. "yeah sure!"
we sat on the sofas, jonah and jack one on, corbyn and daniel on another, and zach and i on the third, and we decided to watch the hunger games. halfway through the film i started to get a bit tired and i rested my head on zach's shoulder and leant into him as he put his arm round my side. the side effects of my cancer medication were kicking in and i was getting tired and i think i fell asleep on zach's shoulder.
Zachs POV
the film had nearly finished and looked down to olivia, but she was already asleep. she looked so cute and peaceful, and knew she must've been tired because of her cancer.
"guys, olivia fell asleep so I'm gonna take her up to my room and let her sleep there, we will just take her to school tomorrow" "okay, night bro" corbyn replied and then i picked olivia up as carefully as i could without waking her then took her upstairs. as i laid her down she grabbed my shirt. "please stay." "in here?" "yes please" she said, half asleep. "okay, do you want some clothes to wear instead of those?" "yes please". i went to my closet and got some shorts and t-shirt and gave them to her. i turned around while she changed. "you can turn back around now" she said sort of tired. i turned back around and couldn't help but stare at how cute she looks in my clothes. "thank you" she giggled. omg she has the cutest little laugh "wait did i say that out loud" i said embarrassed. "yeah haha" "oh, well ummm... it's true" i said scratching the back of my head. she smiled at me then walked over and wrapped her arms around me. i grabbed her waist and pulled her more into the cuddle. after a while we pulled away, and she got into the bed. i quickly changed then climbed into bed next to olivia. "zach... can we cuddle please...?" "of course, come here" she shuffled closer to me and laid her head on my chest and i wrapped my arms around her waist. a few minutes later we were both asleep.
