i was not looking forward to walking over there. zach kept a tight grip on my hand and jonah stood on the other side of me, with daniel, jack and corbyn behind us. we were almost past the three bitches, but at the last minute kay grabbed zachs arm causing us all to stop. great, just what i need on the first day... 'kay I'm busy' 'that's no way to talk to your girlfriend baby' 'kay... how many times. he. is. not. your. boyfriend.' jack clapped back at her. we all turned round and gave jack a fist bump, smiled back at the girls and carried on walking to the reception to get my timetable and locker etc. 'hi how can i help?' the last at the reception desk asked me 'uhm I'm new and it's my first day' 'ah yes, olivia is it?' 'yeah that's me' 'okay here is your locker number and code and your timetable. the person scheduled to show you around school is.... zach' he looked up when he heard his name and walked closer. 'so zach, you're gonna be my tour guide' 'well glad you already have a friend, and let me know if you need anything! bye' she said as we crossed the corridor to the boys. 'right lets go to your locker and stuff before class' daniel said and smiled. we walked to a different corridor and my locker just happened to be between zach and corbyns. they showed me how to use the lock and then the bell went. they all went to class and zach showed me around her school. he grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers and i couldn't help but smile.
'so olivia, i wanna know more about you' 'okay go for it, ask something' 'ummm okay, what do you like to do' 'i like singing a little bit, but mostly photography and painting' 'that's so cool, i love singing as well! the boys also like music and singing' 'awesome, so how come you all live together?' 'so we are all best-friends of course, but then jonahs family wanted to move back to minnesota and he wanted to stay, and to be honest we were all getting a little teeny bit fed up of our siblings, so we decided to buy a house together.' 'i would to love with my friends...' i trailed off knowing that i didn't really have any girl friends, or any friends really, except these 5 boys. 'hey are you ok?' zach asked me as i snapped back u to reality from the daze i was in. 'oh um yeah, sorry i was just thinking...' 'you can tell me anything, no judging or anything and i won't ever tell anyone' 'oh okay, thanks, so um, of course I've had cancer for quite a while and it was pretty alright, but then my parents died a year ago and i fell into a massive spell of depression and stuff that wasn't good for me and my friends couldn't deal with me and kinda just dropped me... so yeah, that and the depression sort of triggered my cancer. it got much worse than before, and i was alone and all my friends abandoned me' 'well you definitely have at least 5 friends and i promise that!! and I'm so sorry about everything you've been through' ' thanks zach, and I'm sorry about what you went through with your brother' we were still holding hands and he gave mine a little squeeze and we exchanged a smile before continuing our tour.
