"Uhm... excuse me, I want to ask if Dr. Wang had finished his job today." Xin Xin asked the nurses around the pediatric station.

It was their schedule to check the baby on that day. 32 weeks. 6 to 10 more weeks before their baby came into the outside world. 6 to 10 more weeks before they could hold her in their arms. 6 to 10 more weeks to become parents.

She smiled as she thought about it. Caressing her belly lovingly, she kept on thinking about it on her way to the pediatric station to 'pick up' her husband before they doing a check-up for the baby. It was Saturday, the usual day they went to do their baby check because usually, he didn't have any schedule on Saturday. But that day, he had to work to assist some new interns at the pediatric station since morning, and there she was at that time, asking for her husband to the nurse at the pediatric station.

Nurse Jie lifted her head as she heard XinXin's question, then she smiled, "Ah... You're Dr. Wang's friend, right?"

XinXin nodded.

"I think he finished it already. He might just do the report check for today." She smiled, "Just wait here."

"Thank you," XinXin said before she then took a seat near the nurse station and waited for him to come.

"Hey..." Nurse Wei suddenly talked to Nurse Jie, "Have you already seen the new intern?"

"Which one?" Nurse Jie asked.

"The pretty one. dr. Xia."

"I have. Why?"

She looked around her surroundings before answering, afraid that somebody might listen to her talk, "Don't you afraid that she will take your doctor's attention?" Asked Nurse Wei again. "She's so pretty and her body is to die for. And she's also very kind. I didn't mean to scare you, but I am quite sure Dr. Wang is being so nice to her today." She said again, adding more fuel to Nurse Jie's mind. "He might be attracted to her already, I swear. He's still single though. Of course, he would be attracted to her. She's young and sexy."

And her words suddenly took XinXin's attention.

Wait... what? A pretty intern? And he's being SO nice to her...

"Excuse me, Miss."

XinXin snapped out from her reverie as she heard Nurse Jie called her. She didn't realize that she's already stood up in front of her, looking so nervous. "Yes?" She responded.

"Uhm... Can I ask you something?" She then took a seat beside her and looked towards her face, still looking as nervous as before.

"About what?" XinXin asked, her brows furrowed, confused.

Why she looked so nervous?

"Uhm... do you know if Dr. Wang already have a girlfriend?"

XinXin was dumbfounded, "What?"

"Uhm... I know that you're his friend, so I thought maybe you know about it, and—"

Before she could finish her talk, XinXin cut her words, "Is that a too private question to ask?" She coldly asked.

Nurse Jie's face turned crimson, "I am sorry. I... I just thought that you might know about it. I—"

"As far as I know, he doesn't have any girlfriend right now." XinXin said nonchalantly, "I can only answer that."
