Jess was finding it all too much once more she had enough with all her worries and stress and couldn't control her emotions anymore and started sobbing. She didn't realise at the time that her roommate Stefan happened to be in at the time. Him and Jess have been best friends since they were little and from their growing friendship his love for her started to develop in more ways than others. He hated to hear her cry it made him feel helpless to see her in that state! He came up with the idea of ordering her favourite pizza and to keep her company for the rest of the night. Once the pizza had arrived he grabbed a rose from the vase of flowers on the dining table and walked towards her bedroom. Before he opened the door he could hear her say to herself 'I'm useless' 'people see the Jess who's always happy and bubbly not the Jess who can't deal with it all anymore' he had heard enough and knew it was time to rescue his princess! He knocked on the door to see if he could come in. She stopped crying all of a sudden and sounded completely normal as she told him to come in.
"Hey! Oo pizza!"
"Jess I know you are sad I walked past earlier and heard you crying and what you were saying about yourself." He informed her looking and sounding rather concerned. She sighed as she put back down the slice of pizza. She looked down at the floor and didn't want to give him any eye contact. "Jess why don't you tell me that you felt that way?"
"I don't know, I just felt like no one would care really..."
"Jess I care! I always have and I always will. You mean so much to me you really do! It troubles me when I see you upset." He paused for a moment and took at deep breath at what he said next. "I love you." He whispered quietly, hoping that she would t hear. Jess looked up at him and couldn't believe what he just said!
"Stef...? Did you just-"
"Yeah I do and I always have! No one's ever understood me as much as you do yano?" He made sure he said it enough for her to hear whilst looking straight into her eyes. She smiled as she said "the thing is that I feel the same way." He smiled and then leant in and gave her a kiss on the lips. They both felt good. "So does this mean we're... Umm..." Stefan stalled scratching the back of his neck.
"Yeah if you want to." She replied sweetly. "I love you Stefan Abingdon."
"I love you too Jessika Lewis."
They both kissed each other on the lips again and finished off the pizza. They both stayed up late led next to each other snuggled up have deep and meaningful conversations. They did this until four in the morning when they finally fell asleep. Jess was wrapped in his arms, he knew there and then that he never wanted to let her go and he would make sure that his girl would never be that unhappy again.
