It was a typical Saturday night for the Londoner; Stef was sat in his flat on his phone texting his girlfriend Jess on how much he loves and misses her and how he wants to come up to Birmingham to see her again. Whilst he was texting her the house phone rang, Ash was out with his girlfriend so that meant he had to pick it up 'ugh too much effort' he thought so he let the phone go to answer machine just then a familiar voice was coming from the phone;
"Hello Stef it's only your mum! Erm just to let you know that tomorrow is still on to go see you nana tomorrow in Birmingham-"
Birmingham... Birmingham! Jess lives there! Before his mum finished the answer he ran off of the sofa and jumped to the phone before she hung up.
"Hello mum!"
"Hello sweet heart yeah as I was saying we are still going to see your nan tomorrow with the rest of the family, are you still comming?"
"Yeah but I'm not coming with the rest of the family I'm coming down a couple of hours earlier."
"Oh that's fine! How come you're doing that sweetheart?"
"I thought I would see Jess for a while whilst we were up there before hand."
"Oh right I see! That's fine. So I shall see you tomorrow then!"
"Yeah bye mum love you."
"By Stef love you too"
Stef went to sleep feeling happy that night. So then came the next morning he got ready and headed down to the train station to go on his way to Birmingham to see Jess. She had agreed to meet him outside the station. Even though they have met up several times he still gets nervous every time they meet up. He waited anxiously outside for her when all of a sudden he felt something cover his face, he didn't know what it was at first until he heard an unfamiliar laugh!
"Lemme guess its the pope?"
"Oh how ever did you guess?!" Jess replied sarcastically whilst laughing. "Hey how you doing?"
She walked in front of him and kissed him smack bang on the lips.
"Hey I'm feeling great now after that!" This made Jess blush. He always knew how to charm her. (Nawh!) They left the station hand in hand. For the next two hours they went to the bull ring and had a look around. They stopped off at a little cafe for a little bite to eat and drink. Halfway through Stef's phone rang, it was his mum!
"Hey mum."
"Oh hi sweetie sorry to interrupt your time with Jess but your nana said why don't you bring her up!"
"Really! Are you sure?"
"Yes I'm sure Stefan! Your nana wants to meet her after all the lovely things you've said about her!"
"Ok hang on stay on the line I will ask her a mo" he put the phone on the table and tapped Jess on the shoulder as she was enjoying a slice if chocolate cake. "Babe my nana wants to meet you. You up for it?"
"Sure I'd love to!"
"Great! I will say the rest of the family are up there too!"
Jess looked slightly cautious by the sound of that. "All the family you say...?"
"Yes all the family! What's wrong you seem nervous?"
"It's just I'm gunna be meeting your family!"
"You've met my mum plenty of times!"
"Yeah exactly! I've only met your mum, not the rest of your entire family!"
"I've met yours its not that bad trust me! They will welcome you with open arms."
