"Betty. No. I am not going to let you put yourself at risk like that."

"I've been letting you do it for the past year! How do you think I feel! Watching you go not knowing if you'll come back..."

Peter sat down on the couch in frustration and Betty followed.

"Peter, please. It would be so nice to protect you for once! And hey! I'm not bad!"

"This isn't a joke Betty! You could seriously get hurt."

"Why can't you understand that I just want to do something good in my life! I don't want to be like my dad..."

Peter got up and sat next to Betty, putting his arm around her. She leaned onto his shoulder, melting into his arms.

"I can't lose you again."

"I know. But hey. We're in this together. Always."

Peter looks into Betty's eyes and smiles.

"It would be nice to work with you..."

Betty kisses him on the cheek.

"Yeah, like partners in crime."

He pauses and thinks to himself.

"One mission. You can come with me on ONE mission. If you get hurt, I'm not allowing you to go on anymore."

"Okay. Deal."

Betty kisses Peter on the cheek.

"Let's go tell Pepper."

The pair drives to Stark Industries, breaking the news to Pepper.

"Betty! Peter! Have you thought about the offer?"

Betty steps up, a huge smile on her face.

"Yes! I can't wait to join the Avengers! Pepper, thank you so much!"

Pepper laughs as she and Betty hug.

"Okay, so I was thinking... You and Peter probably want to work alongside each other right? So how about we have the new duo Spider-Man and Spider-Woman!"

Betty and Peter make a face at each other.

"That sounds a little tacky Pepper."

Peter replies.

"Do you have any better ideas?"

Neither of them replied.

"That's what I thought. Now come on, we got a lot of work to do. First, let's pick your suit so you can start getting used to it when you train. Peter can help you with all the technologies it has."

Pepper picks it up and holds it out in front of Betty.

"How'd you get it ready so fast?"

"Let's just say I had a feeling you would say yes."

She winks. Betty takes the suit and goes into the dressing room to try it on.

"Okay, Miss Cooper. Let's see it!"

Betty shyly walks out.

"It's very... Tight."

"Well, you have to have the least amount of things on if you want to move faster and fly through the air."

"FLY?"

"Yes, with your web-shooters. Just like Peter."

Pepper and Peter fist bump.

"Designed by yours truly."

Betty rolled her eyes and laughed to herself.

"I like it!"
