I Think I'm Falling For You

Chapter 19

*Day of the Wedding*
Bruno's POV

Today is the big day. Everything is set, and ready to go. Mia forgave me for what happen at Tahiti's house on Christmas eve. Lately, Phil has been acting extremely suspicious when he's around Mia. It seems as if he wants to say something, but something is holding him back.

I fixed my tie and put on my black suit jacket. My hair was straighten out in it's popular pompadour. Letting out a deep breath, I wasn't to sure if I was ready to do this. Everyone was already at the church, as so was I. I was waiting for it to start at the back room, as I got myself ready. There was a knock at the door. Quickly I walked to the door and opened it. Tiara was standing there, holding Dominic. He was suited up, looking absolutely adorable.

"Look at you handsome." I grabbed him from Tiara's arms.

"Are you ready?" She asked.

"I guess."

"You guess?" Eric said, coming inside the room.

"Getting cold feet?" Tiara asked.

"No no. Just nervous. That's all." I respond.

Truth is, I don't believe Mia is the one.

"Don't be B. Everything is going to be just find."

The wedding planner came rushing through the door.

"Oh Bruno. There you are! It's time!" She says out of breath.

Tiara grabbed Dominic, as we headed to the front of the church. There was a bunch of people packed in there. As all the bridesmaids walked down the aisle with the groomsmen, next was Mia. Phil stood next to me. Tahiti was sitting right in the front, holding Dominic. She wanted no part in the wedding even though Mia begged her to be a bridesmaid.

The music began to play, and in walked Mia with her father. Her baby bump was out. She was smiling. I did a small side grin. Once she was right infront of me, her father and her kissed on the cheek. Mia and I stood infront of the priest, with many people watching us. This was it. She was about to become my wife.
Jessica's POV

I woke up early this morning to get Dominic ready. I showered him the night before and got his diaper bag ready with clothes so he can stay with Tahiti for just a few days. Once I dressed Dominic in his tuxedo, Tiara came over and picked him up. She looked absolutely stunning in her long strapless yellow bridesmaid dress. When she left, I changed into a black sweater and some blue jeans. After I but on my black and white converse, I tied my hair in a high ponytail.

I grabbed both of my suitcases and looked at my almost empty apartment. I walked out of the apartment, and out to the parking lot. Shoving my bags into the trunk of my small black car, I got in. I had an hour until I had to get to the airport. I drove to Starbucks and ordered myself a drink. As I drove to the airport, I kept thinking about Bruno. He ran through my mind non stop. Checking the clock, it was 2 already. They were already getting married. Letting out a deep breath, I pulled into the parking lot of the airport.

"It's time for a new beginning. You can do this." I told myself.
Bruno's POV

The priest began the ceremony. I looked at Mia, and it seemed as if she was inpatient.

"Are you alright?" I whispered to her.

"Yes." She quickly whispered back.

The priest came beside us, and started to speak.

"Does anyone here think these two should not enter into marriage? Speak now or forever hold your piece." He said.

The room was filled with silence. Phil coughed behind me. Mia's eyes looked right at him. She looked afraid.

"Looks like nobody father. Let's proceed." Mia said quickly.

"Well then-"

Suddenly the church doors slammed wide open.

"Sir, you can't go in there!" The wedding planner yelled.

In walked Jacob. Jessica's ex.

"I object!" Jacob yells.

"Oh thank god." Tahiti said out loud.

"Bingo." Phil says behind me.

"Excuse me sir. What is your reason for these two to not get married?" The priest asked.

"Well father. Mia here has been cheating on Bruno sense the very first time they started dating." Jacob explains.

"Really?" I said, looking at Mia.

"He's lying Bruno." Mia says, with a worried look.

"Oh how can I forget. Mia isn't actually pregnant with your child. It's mine. When you were at the hospital with Jessica, when she was giving birth to Dominic, she invited me over to tell me she was pregnant and didn't want to lose you. So she said it was yours in order to keep you." Jacob explained some more.

Everyone gasped, and started whispering stuff to each other. I looked at Mia speechless.

"Bruno. Baby. You can't believe him. Our baby is yours. Trust me. You got to." Mia said.

"Bruno. It is true." Phil said.

"How do you know?" I asked.

"Because I saw Mia and Jacob together on Christmas eve. That little friend's house she was going to was this guy. Caught them making out in the front yard." He explained.

"You said you weren't going to say anything!" Mia yelled.

"Listen here. Bruno is my bestfriend. No matter what happens. You are a psycho, who needs help. Go ahead and tell everyone that I was lying I had a girlfriend. Jessica already knows that."

"Jessica!" I yelled.

I quickly stepped off the platform.

"Bruno wait. Where are you going?" Mia asked, walking quickly down the steps.

"Far away from you as possible. I'm not going to marry you." I tell her.

I walked pass Jacob.

"Thank you." I tell him.

"No problem."

I start to hear a baby laugh. Then I remembered.  DOMINIC! 

"Tahiti! Can you watch Dominic for me?" I asked in a hurry.

"Yeah sure. Where are you going?" Tahiti asked.

I looked at her and smiled.

"I'm going to get the true love of my life back."
