I woke to find Siera's side of the bed empty. Quickly getting up from bed I went to the bathroom to get ready.

I walked to a room near our room to find my little princess sleeping while hugging her pillow.

She suddenly opened her blue eyes to find me standing at the door.

"Daddy," she said.

" Are you ready for your first day at school," I asked.

"Yes, I and Leo made our bag yesterday by ourselves," she said excitedly.

"Well done, come let's find your mother," I said while she jumped on my shoulder.

We walked downstairs to find Siera cooking breakfast with Leo beside her.

"Good morning princess," I said while making Lauren sit beside her brother.

"Good morning Carl," she said kissing me.

" Good morning Lauren," she said to our daughter.

"Daddy can we go swimming after school," Leo asked.

"Yes, daddy please," Lauren joined.

"Ok fine," I agreed.

"You should try saying no sometimes," Siera said.

"I can but I will not, I love them a lot to spoil them," I replied.

"I can't believe it's their first day at school I am going to miss them," she said getting emotional.

" I know princess, but they are our kids they will always know what to do," I said proudly while Siera smiled.

"I love you, Carl," she said.

"I love you too princess," I said while kissing her.
