(Let's just skip to a day before school starts)

*LAST DAY OF SUMMER*.
Today is the last day of summer and starting tomorrow I will be attending a new unknown school. I woke up to the smell of bacon around the house. I walk downstairs and see we are having breakfast with Camila's family.

Ellie: "good morning."
Camila: "good morning I'm sorry if we were a bit loud."
Ellie: "no it's okay."

I head upstairs to shower and change into some leggings and a crop top. I decided I actually wanted to go for a run around the neighborhood because ever since I got here I have just been in my room. I walk downstairs.

Ellie: "sorry to interrupt but I will be taking a run around the neighborhood not to far from here."
Mom: "okay. Not to far Ells."
Ellie: "okay mom."

I put my AirPods in and listened to some music while on a run. I started running and about 5 minutes later I was dead so I started to walk. I was walking when I saw a guy in front of me.

Guy: "hurry up." He pointed

I looked back confused. He kept walking but he had stopped.

Guy: " sorry I didn't mean to point at you. As you saw my friend is a bit slower than me." He let out a small laugh it was cute. He started to walk. "Are you new around here. Small neighborhood so we all know each other around here but I haven't seen you."
Ellie: "yes I am. I just got here about 2 months ago." I walked with him
Guy: "that's good. How do you like it so far ?"
Ellie: "I haven't gotten to look around the neighborhood which is why I took a little run around this morning and I start school tomorrow and I know I'm going to be completely lost. My name is Ellie by the way." I smiled
Guy: "well my friend here is Roshuan and I'm Alejandro. What school are you attending?"
Ellie: "I think it's called Passaic valley high school."
Alejandro: "we go their. We can show you around if you don't mind" He said hitting Roshuan's arm
Ellie: "that will be great and very helpful of you guys. Well I have to continue this run down to Peterson Avenue. "
Alejandro: "do you live around their."
Ellie: "yes."
Alejandro: "haha for real. We live on that street too ."
Ellie: "really haha.small world"
Alejandro: "let's finish our run then."

We ran to Peterson Avenue and my house was the corner one.

Ellie: "well this is my home."
Alejandro: "great well it was nice meeting you and hope to see you around school. I live like 4 houses down the street. Do you mind if we exchange numbers with you."
Ellie: "not at all. I need to start making some friends." I smiled and gave them my number.

I head inside and my parents were on the couch watching a movie.

Mom: "the run took longer than we expected."
Ellie: " sorry mom. I ran into some boys that live down the street and will be hopefully helping me tomorrow at school."
Mom: "Thats great honey. Camila said she is sorry that her son didn't get to show you around he was very tired from his whole tour thing."
Ellie: "it's was okay it was great I got to meet these guys."

I walk upstairs and shower. I ate dinner, helped mom clean up, and went upstairs to my room. At sat on my bed and was scrolling through Instagram. When I was done I took out my laptop and watched some Netflix. When I got a text message.

Alejandro

Money Heist. I just started
it right now lol

It's a good show.

Yes. I'm actually
watching it in Spanish
because people say
it's better. What are
you doing?

I should have watched
it in Spanish. Dang it
lol. I'm picking out my
outfit for tomorrow.

We can do Netflix Party or
Zoom if you want whenever
you want to watch with me .
I have nothing ready and I'm
kinda scared to enter my junior
year alone with no friends):

Yes we can just let me
know when you wanna
meet on Zoom. My
friends and I are juniors
too. You can hangout with
us so theirs no need of you
to be scared.

Thank you (: well I have to
get ready for school tomorrow
and also for bed. Hope too
