Third person
"Come on now! You're slower than my grandpa and I can't even remember how he walks and looks like!"Jaime darkly joked around making Huening Kai, whom was way behind her, look at the girl with a confused look.

"Are we closer yet?"questioned Kai, Jaime shook her head as an answer without even looking at the boy.

"The best view is way up there! And~ we can get privacy there! that's where me and my brother always go to everytime."Jaime beamed, the girl would've dragged her older brother with her but he had to work a shift so it's just her and Kai.

They both had their own personal stuff in their hands, Jaime had two blankets, one for where they would sit on and one for herself so she wouldn't freeze to death, she had food and a bunch of other stuff in her other hand.

Kai didn't bring anything with hin except his blanket and his phone, he was in a bit of a hurry because he had to snuck out of their house.

"Hurry up! The sun is about to go down."Jaime excitedly chirped, Kai rolled his eyes and chuckled afterwards, dragging himself towards the girl whom he is only following.

"Oh wow, you didn't lie when you said this spot had the best view."The tall boy exclaimed in amazement, the sunset was on complete display which made it more beautiful.

Kai got a bit confused when he didn't hear any response from Jaime, he turned to his side where the girl sat and there she was, staring at the sunset quietly.

Her face had a blank expression yet it was so obvious she was on the verge of tearing up, the male one between them sighed and held her hand that she placed right beside her.

When she felt like something took over her hand, she smiled not even looking at the person beside her.

"As much as I want to stay here with you, I also want to leave."She mumbled, Kai made invisible circles on her hand to keep her calm.

He smiled to himself and watched the sunset alongside the girl beside him.

night came by and they eventually forgot about the heavy feelings, they joked around ate some food together, told each other stories and even opened up to one another.

They did everything they could because they both know that it won't last long.

"Did you even practice those moves that I told you?"Jaime arched her brow while she questioned Kai regarding about a certain sport he struggled with for a bit.

"Nah, I just guessed that basketball isn't for me."He quickly dismissed her question by shaking his head while he played with the grass.

"But you know what is for me?"

"What?"

"You."He cheekily grinned, earning a smack from her on the shoulder.

"Shut up."She laughed and looked at the ground too, her smile slowly faded as the negative emotions she felt awhile ago slowly came back.

As soon as she felt sad again, a bunch of fireworks went up the sky all at once creating a beautiful harmony of different colors.

The both of then stared at the colorful sky at awe as more and more fireworks bursted.

Jaime, in particular didn't know how to feel, she felt sad that she was leaving tomorow yet somewhat happy because she had someone by her side, she felt scared of what would happen to the both of them.

A statement popped into her mind that ruined her mood.

'this is just some immature highschool love, why should I get sad about it?'
