Im Thinking of a New Title

Chapter 4

When I wake up, the last thing I want to do is get up, especially since it means facing my parents. I probably woudnt have if I didn't know that Austin was going to surprise me. So I get up, throw on some clothes, do my makeup and hair, brush my teeth, and decide to go confront my parents.

When I get downstairs, I find my mom and tell her I need to talk to her and dad. She just smiles and says they need to talk to me too. Little do they know, I already know what they want to tell me. So I just smile and say OK find dad and meet me in the living room. After she goes to find dad, I run to them kitchen to get myself breakfast. Then I head to the living room to wait for my mom and dad.

Austins point of view

I feel really bad for Katiana. I know her and her grandma were close, so I figured I would surprise her and hopefully make her smile. Now just to decide how to surprise her... I decide to text Aline to see what she thinks.

From: Aline

To: Austin

Call her in to the school sick and take her to her favorite places. I'm not going to tell you exactly where though because I know you can think of something.

I think about this and decide its a good idea... But I need a great one... So I call the school to tell them she's sick and get to planning.

Katianas point of view

When my mom and dad come into the room they look at each other and my dad starts to talk. "Well Katiana what did you want to tell us?" He asks.  "Well you can go first." I reply. He smiles. ''Well, your grandma, may she rest in peace, was our last tie to this town and now that she's passed... We decided we want to move! Out of this country to somewhere new like Brittan or Scotland or Australia.... or maybe Irreland!'' My mom looks at me as my dads talking. She notices my expression and frowns.

"Great idea," I say, "Why don't you ruin my life a little more! In fact why don't you just get it over with and kill me now? Huh mom and dad?" The look on their face was some mix of anger, disapointment, and surprise.

"Don't you dare say that young lady!" My dad exclaims. I just scoff and say, "Its the truth! My grandma, the only person in the family who truly loves me dies and now I'm gonna be ripped from my whole life as I know it? Sounds like a super fun adventure, don't it?"

"Well me and mom aren't sure where to go yet... Would you agree if you got to choose?"  

"Its not happening," I say, "I will not move no matter what you say or where we would go! I just lost grandma. I can't lose Aline and Austin too, let alone loose them in the same week." The look on my parents face is utter shock. They seriously thought letting me choose where would make everything OK. They start to say something but there's a beep from outside. "Im leaving," I say,  "My rides here."

 

Sorry again. This took longer than expected because I had a freind over who wouldn't leave me alone lol. (P.S. Love u Dani even though u were annoying me while I was writing) Also this is setting up a major twist in the book which I WILL NOT tell anyone about so don't bother asking. Just trust me. It will be a twist.
