TEN — ( THE TALK ! )

IT HAD BEEN GETTING CLOSER TO THE WEEKEND, MEANING IT WAS GETTING CLOSER TO RUDY AND SYDNEY FILMING THEIR FIRST INTENSE SCENE. It was a scene where JJ and Juliet finally spoke about what had happened between them, where they had to kiss. And Sydney and Rudy still hadn't spoken.

Sydney had just filmed a scene with Madison where Juliet told Kiara about what happened between her and JJ. It wasn't a long scene as the flashback would be in the middle of them talking. After the scene, Sydney had asked the director if she knew if Rudy had any scenes to film that afternoon. Luckily for her, he hadn't. So she went to find him after changing so the two could talk. When she reached his trailer, she knocked on the door and waited a few seconds for Rudy to answer. "You're free right now, right?" Sydney didn't even wait for Rudy to see who had knocked on his trailer before she was asking. She was nervous and just wanted to get it over and done with so they could both just move on and try to be friends.

Rudy let out a laugh at her eagerness. "Yeah. I am."

"Do you wanna maybe go talk?" Sydney then asked, pursing her lips as she waited for a response. There was no reason for him to say no but she had a small feeling he might. And she would've just had to deal with it.

"You wanna talk right now?" He asked. He didn't think she'd be so quick to want to talk to him but he understood why.

"Yeah....unless you don't want to. That's fine." Sydney told him. But Rudy was okay with it.

"No! No, that's totally fine." He told her, smiling. Rudy then told her to wait a few seconds so he could grab his phone and wallet before they could leave. He didn't know where they were going but he wanted to take his things with him in case they were out for a long time.

Sydney though it would be better to go to a public place as it would stop either of them from getting angry or upset and overreacting. There was a café down the street from set so that's where Sydney wanted to go. The walk there wasn't as awkward as they expected. Sydney made sure to keep the conversation going, she asked Rudy about his family and what he'd been doing for the past year. It was nice for her to hear about his family again and what he'd been up to. She had missed talking to him. Sydney had also told Rudy how her family were and what she'd been doing, she spoke a little about filming Euphoria and another projects she'd done. It was like nothing had happened between them for the minutes they were walking.

When they arrived at the café, Sydney told Rudy she wanted to sit outside, it was more relaxing, but before she sat down she wanted to get some coffee. She asked Rudy if he wanted anything before going inside, she'd remembered his coffee order from when they dating so it was easy for her to order the two drinks. When she finally got them and sat down outside with Rudy, she knew she needed to start.

"You know, I didn't think I'd ever see you again, not after that night." Sydney admitted, looking up sheepishly at Rudy. She truly didn't think she'd ever see him again, she had no reason to. They didn't live that close to each other in LA and it wasn't like they worked together. Rudy wasn't even acting that much when they were dating. So Sydney really believed she wouldn't ever have to see him again.

"Neither did I." Rudy had also admitted. He had hoped his and Sydney's paths would cross again but he didn't think they actually would. Not unless one of them did it purposely.
