I sat up in my desk feeling like absolute shit, my English teacher was lecturing us about Shakespeare and how he used anachronism in his poems, which I thought was pretty cool, but I was too tired to care.
My mind has been swirling, yeah you heard me, swirling. I can't get that guy with the bandana out of my head, why was he wearing it over his mouth then hugged me? It was freaky and weird and I didn't understand any of it. I'm so interested in this boy, why? Because he is like a puzzle and I just want to put all the pieces together to find what he truly is. Cliché as it sounds, I think he is hiding something. I've read books about stubborn humans and how they actually are hiding something and that is causing them to have that kind of attitude. Plus, I'm good at puzzles.
The bell rang marking the end of the block and I was ready to just get out of here and go to the library. I hated school really, probably because I have no friends. Well, except Callie. The pink haired girl that always shows up at the coffee shop I work at, who asked to be my friend and I kindly accepted. I may have just made an actual friend and wow it feels weird.
I head towards the library like I always do, stuffing my English textbook into my book bag as I walked. I made sure I was paying attention where I was going this time since I've been very clumsy the past few days and it's made people very mad at me and by people I mean Ashton.
I see the library doors when something or someone caught my eye.
Luke was standing by his locker talking to some girls that were obviously flirting with him, I wouldn't blame them though, he is quite charming. He looks up and meets my eyes and waves, God is he cute. I wave back and smile as I headed to the library doors.
"Wait!" Luke said, jogging to me as he left the flirting girls who were staring at me confusingly. "Do you want to have lunch with me and my buds?" He spoke, smiling a toothy smile. What.. Did he just?
"Uhm..me?" I stutter, grabbing on to my book bag handles for no fucking reason.
He chuckles, "Yes Daisy, you." He grabs my hand and leads me to the lunch room. "Bye girls!" He says to the flirtatious girls who were wearing too short of skirts, they stare at me again like they wanted to kill me. I just waved nervously at them then let Luke lead me.
We arrived at the table him and his friends were at, one had dark brown hair with blonde highlights, one had red hair and an eyebrow piercing, and the other one...
Was the boy with the golden curls, Ashton.
He looked up at me, scoffed, then looked down at his phone.
"Hi guys! Have you met Daisy yet?" Luke said, and sat down next to the brown/blonde haired guy. "Oh Daisy! Let me introduce you to these wacky friends of mine." He points at the dark haired one, "This is Calum, He's not Asian so don't even call him that, he's Kiwi. That means he's from New Zealand." He points at the red haired guy, "That's Michael, he loves pizza and boobs so since you have pretty nice ones I would cover them up." I looked down and I forgot I wore a tank top today, I started blushing like mad and looked down.
"Wow Luke already hitting on the shy girl?" Michael scoffs, popping a chip into his mouth.
"Oh shut up Michael, anyway then this boy right here." He points at Ashton, "Well you've already met so yeah..." He scratches his head.
"Unfortunately." Ashton spoke from his phone.
I rolled my eyes and sat down next to Luke who offered me an apple, I gladly took it and bit into it.
"So Daisy you got a boyfriend?" Michael said, wiggling his eyebrows.
"Uhm.. No I don't." I swallowed, "I've never had one." It was true, I've never had a boyfriend and it was sad since I was 17 and still haven't had my first kiss yet.
