So, the Humanity's Angel series kind of works like this: Each book is like a season of Supernatural. Each chapter, an episode. Since some of the chapters are going to be a little long, it might take me a while to update, so bear with me.
IMPORTANT: I know there is an angel named Hannah in the actual Supernatural series, but in this story she never existed. Completely other Hannah. Sorry if there was any confusion.
Hope you enjoy! :)
*~*~*
*~Hannah's POV~*
I've been with the Winchesters for 3 months now. They've grown on me. They'd been teaching all there is to know about every thing they hunt, and how to hunt it. Dean says he'd teach me how to shoot soon, since I still didn't have any mojo.
Currently, I was grocery shopping for them. Exciting.
"Hannah."
I dropped the basket of groceries onto the floor of the supermarket in shock.
"Damn it, Cas! Don't do that!"
"Sorry."
I reach down and retrieve the
basket."What's so important that you couldn't wait until I got back, anyways?"
"We need to leave."
I stare at him with narrowed eyes. He stares back. This goes on for about 30 seconds before I speak up.
"Care to explain?"
"We've found a case. There have been a lot of gruesome casualties involving preachers."
"Fine. Just, let me check out first, okay? I'm sure Sam and Dean won't care if I take a few minutes."
I already knew I wasn't going to actually fight the monsters themselves. I didn't exactly have too much practice with weapons. I could handle a knife, but that was about it. The most action I will probably have is the search for wifi so I could do research.
"Did you get the pie?" Cas says all of a sudden.
I stare at him. "Yes, I got the pie."
"Good."
I shake my head a little and make my way to the checkout, Cas trailing behind me.
*~*~*
"Bananas," I say, setting the bushel on the counter and looking at Sam. "Pie," I continue, setting the triangular package down next to the bananas and looking at Dean. "Chips. Jerky. Donuts. Bread. Ham. Cheese."
"Thanks." Sam says, looking away from his laptop and up at me.
"Yeah. Don't mention it," I huff, plopping onto the bed behind me. "So. I hear you guys have a case?"
"Yeah." Sam answers. "Five preachers, dead. The deaths seem a little weird, too."
"Like, us weird?"
"Like us weird." Dean confirms.
"Where are we headed?"
"Oxford, West Virginia."
I get up off of the bed. "Alright then. Let's go."
*~*~*
Dean tosses a fake FBI badge into the back seat and I catch it, tucking it into the pocket of my peacoat.
I open up the Impala door and step out into the cold air of February. I stare at the most recent, and sixth, crime scene outside of a small brown Baptist church. Sam, Dean and I walk towards it, ducking under the police tape, to stand in front of the chief of police. "Hi. I'm Agent Campbell, and this is Agent Kodak and Marks." I announce, taking out my fake badge. Sam and Dean do the same.
