The next morning, Antony asked about my leg and asked to check it in the sunlight. We sat on the stairs outside my house so he could examine my leg. 'Does it hurt to walk on baby?' he asked me. 'It doesn't bother me, although it kinda hurts to put a lot of pressure on it.' I said as I put my head on his shoulder. 'Let's get you some breakfast. I'll cook chocolate chip pancakes for everyone.' He said as he helped me stand up to keep me from hurting my leg. Antony made homemade pancakes as we talked. The girls woke up and asked about my leg. 'I'm good guys, I promise. Antony made breakfast though, come on.' I said as Antony finished cooking. Haley looked at me and shifted her eyes towards my phone. I looked at it and saw a message from her. It was asking if we should tell the others about what we saw on the cameras the other night. I looked at her and nodded slightly so the others wouldn't think much of it. 'So everyone, me and Clara have something we need to tell you. We debated on when to do this but now will probably be the best time to say it. We were there when the five children were murdered.' Haley said and looked towards me. 'There were seven of us. Four boys, a girl and me and Haley. From what we could tell, we had to be under five years old at least. Me and Haley hid together in an old storage room while everyone else hid in other places. We were able to escape through an opened window. We got out safe but wasn't able to help the other children.' I said looking down. 'So you guys could have been killed if you didn't see the window?' Shanieya asked almost like she was concerned about us. 'Pretty much. That's what it boils down too.' Haley said. 'We shouldn't go to the pizzeria tonight.' I said when I got the sudden feeling that something would happen if we went. 'We should research here, besides me and Haley can pull up the camera footage from the pizzeria here.' I said not wanting to explain why. 'Yeah, especially after last night, she deserves a break.' Haley said knowing why I said that.
