namjoon gently glanced up from the file he was reviewing, humming gently under his breath. did he push things already a bit too quick? was jungkook avoiding the subject because of that, apparently? the males did talk in the morning, a few hours prior, but the moment namjoon tried to lightly shift the matter over to the date, jungkook did nothing but panic and made a lame excuse of his connection being weak.. when he could hear him clearly. had he perhaps done something wrong?

namjoon let out a soft breath as he glanced down at his file again, marking some figures up, glancing at his manager who was busy jotting down stuff- now he couldn't bother him with a silly question either, he would not want his work to be disturbed after all. with a heavy sigh leaving his lips, he would reach out for his phone, texting the younger male.

namjoon:
why are you ignoring me?

jungkook on the other hand was cuddled up between sheets, practicing some game programming to prepare a model that was due in a few weeks, his eyes gently peeking at his phone. "joonie?" he mumbled as he lightly kept his tabloid aside, grabbing a hold of his phone, only to have a soft frown forming onto his delicate features.

jungkook:
i'm not ignoring you? we even talked today..?

jungkook:
what are you talking about, joonie :(?

namjoon would sigh as he fiddled with the pen on his desk as he waited for the younger to respond, only to scoff when he read the replies, mumbling a soft "oh really, precious?" in a sarcastic tone, his face dropping lightly when his manager glanced at him with a somehow weirded out gaze, either of the males blinking until his manager decided to speak up. "i lost a count of my zeroes.. sir." he said with a smile, namjoon immediately getting up as he mouthed 'sorry', making his way out of the conference hall.

namjoon:
you did ignore me.. when i asked you about the date

namjoon:
look, precious. it's fine if you don't want to come, at least tell me..

namjoon:
i don't want to keep my hopes high for a long time when you're eventually not coming on the date with me..

jungkook would watch the messages pop up on his screen one by one, his frown going deeper and deeper with each of them, a huff leaving his lips as he slowly looked away from the screen, staring at a distant wall as he thought about what the elder just said, letting a soft sigh escape from his lips.

jungkook:
so if i say no for the date you wouldn't talk to me anymore?

namjoon:
i never said that, precious

namjoon:
by what i said, i meant that i understand that we just met, you might not yet be comfortable with me that much, but i do want to take you out. you're genuinely so adorable and such a small babie i just can't help but let my thoughts linger over you, and if you perhaps turn the date down now, I'll possibly might not be that sad and move on, but I'm sure as time passes by and keep me more in darkness, I'd possibly grow more eager for it, and if you turn it down then, no matter how hard I'll try, i still possibly will feel sad about it..

namjoon:
but then again, i don't want to force you..

namjoon:
i don't know.. just talk to me when you've made up your mind
