The New Girl

Chapter 4

Today's the first day of school. I woke up went over to my bathroom and took a quick shower. I ran a comb through my hair and walked over to my closet. I pulled out some denim capris that came just above my ankle and a cropped floral shirt and some white flip flops. After all I didn't care this was school not I beauty pageant. Not like I was into the Beauty stuff anyway.

I pulled my hair into a bun and put a light coat of some cheap mascara on that I bought at target. I put a baby lips on and went downstairs for breakfast.

I poured a bowl of cereal grabbed my phone and started to eat my cereal and scroll through Instagram. When I was done I rinsed my bowl put it in the dishwasher and I grabbed my bag and started out the door.

I started to walk to school and I realized it was really late and I had to walk. Great late on the first day. Just what I wanted. I started to pick up my pace until a familiar voice rang behind me.

"Daaammnnn airplane girl cleans up nice"

" I'd prefer if you didn't call me that again Cameron, but thanks" airplane girl wtf? And he's seen me like this before. We've hung out at least 4 times.

" I see your running late need a ride"

" I don't know I don't take rides from strangers"

" oh I see. If only I were a stranger"

"Well the ignoring me for 2 months was pretty strange but you know it's cool"

" come on just get in we have some catching up to do and I have some explaining to do"

" and I've got a class to catch"

" come on airplane girl live on the edge a little would yah"

" if you stop calling me that I'll happily get in your car"

" okay cammy, doors unlocked"

"Same Cameron" I said under my breath

"It's been two months what do you expect a new man?" He heard that?

"Maybe a one that could reply"

" oh I see where your going"

Pfhhhtt I didn't. I just sat back and didn't say anything just watched the road.

" uhh Cameron schools the other way"

" cammy, you don't know the way trust me it's a short cut"

" oh okay"

"Not to school though" he said under his breath

"Excuse me" I said I'm sure I wasn't supposed to hear what he said

"What nothing? We'll be there soon"

"Okay." I said and sat back and scrolled through my phone until he pulled up to a little building in the middle of no where

"Uhh cam where are we"

"You'll see" he said interlocking his fingers with mine. What is up with him.
