"Dammit Jacob, i wanted those files on my desk yesterday" Dominic screamed with anger at the officer sitting in the black leather chair. The man rubbed his hands down the arms of the cold seat. "ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME?" Jacob was again in his head. Thinking of what it would be like to have a role in this world. "Alright jacob, this is your last chance, Okay?" Dominic said calmly to jacob "Yes sir, i understand. This will not happen again." He stood and put his black leather shoes on the hard wood floor and turned for the doorway and put his hands on the cold door handle. "And Jacob. If i hear that your emotions get out of hands again.. Your fucked." He nodded his head and left the chief's cold and bland room.
Heading back to his desk he saw his friend strugiling to hold a criminal in his handcuffs "Let go of me dammit!" The criminal yelled out in anger. The other officer said "Calm down sir. Or i'll be forced to use brutality. Jacob walked over and held the criminal's arm and helped walk him to his cell "So how ya doin aiden?" The officer with blonde hair and blue eyes looked over and replied. "Not so good. My sister is planning on kicking me out soon" Aiden frowned and said "Would you mind if i stay at your place tonight?" Jacob laughed while locking the cell. "Yea man, you always can. I'm glad to help a friend." Aiden smiled and put his hand on him "Thank you, Jacob"
Back at his house he layed in bed looking at the scars on his left wrist. When all of the sudden three knocks at the door echoed through the empty, cold house. Jacob stood up and walked through the old house to the white doorway. He opened to see his friend awaiting at him under the stary night. He let aiden in and pointed to his room. Aiden looked at jacob and said "Umm that's your room right?" He replied with a simple "Yes Aiden i want you to stay in there until you get back up on your feet." Aiden laughed and walked to his room. "Thank you man, you didn't have to do this. But you did." Jacob looked at aiden and said "Shut the fuck up and go to bed" He hurried to the bedroom and closed the door. Jacob layed on his couch and tuned into the show he watched every night.
The clock struck 3:Am and jacob was still up. He reached for the small remote he used to control the television. It was all taped since he lost the back months ago. The tape was grey and quite old. He flipped the t.v. off and layed in his quiet, dark living room. He slowly started to fall into his slumber. When all of a sudden a loud bang came from his back yard he quickly sat up and hoped off the couch. He hurried to find a flashlight. He ran to the kitchen to grab one out of his junk drawer
He made his way down the hallway that lead to the back door. He peeked out the window and looked he didnt see anybody. He stepped back and opened the old door and stepped out. The wind wasn't as harsh as the forecast said it would be, he never belived it anyway usually when they say it would rain. It would be the sunniest day in dawn city.
He looked around the small inclosed area that was his backyard. But didnt see a thing as he turned to enter the old house he looked behind once more to make sure. He closed the door and returned to the couch and layed down once more. He closed his eyes and slowly fell asleep.
