Yeosang dashed out of the classroom, taking advantage of the deserted hallway to sneak out of the campus and reached his apartment. He didn't want to be caught by his friends, that, by the way, didn't stop looking for him. They even sent the youngest some messages, telling him that they would've waited for him outside the college. That was the reason why Yeosang chose to exit the campus from the back door, a way out that not a lot of students knew. Probably because it was far away from the building where the apartments were or probably because, to be fully out of the campus, you had to climb three flights of metal stairs that looked as if they were about to crash on themselves in a few seconds.
He descended the loud and not much safe stairs and, leaning in a little to check if the passage was free, he walked with quick steps to his apartment. Yeosang hoped that, at least, they wouldn't barge into his flat when Jieun was there with him.
He closed the door slowly and being careful not to make too much noise as if his friends were there. He took a deep breath and laid his back against the wooden surface of the door, finally relaxing his nerves.
From where he was, he spotted the black agenda on the coffee table in front of the sofa. He gulped and his stomach made a cartwheel at the thought of what and who is going to appear in a few moments.
He abandoned his backpack on the floor and walked towards the little table, grabbed the agenda, and opened it. As his fingers caressed the edge of the page, a tingling sensation took control of his body, which made Yeosang even more excited to meet the fake Jieun. His fingers, then, grasped the paper and yanked it towards his body.
"Hi, darling."
Pronounced a voice from behind him. The male jolted and turned around with a hand on his chest and a loud gasp. When he turned around, he found himself face to face to a smiling Jieun that had her hands intertwined behind her back and her eyes tight into crescents.
Yeosang panted and stuttered a couple of meaningless sounds, his stare traveling from the woman in front of him to the door on his left. His index finger followed the same movements of his eyes.
Jieun tilted her head on the right, bursting into a resonant laugh, making Yeosang feeling dumb. He flattened his lips into a thin line as he waited for her laugh to stop.
"Shouldn't you be knocking at the door?"
He asked, stretching his finger towards the door and lifting both of his eyebrows. He expected Jieun to knock at the door as she did the last two times he met her.
What kind of person would appear behind someone else's back if the door was closed and locked?
"There's no need to. You called me!"
She exclaimed, tapping her finger on the black agenda that Yeosang still had in his grip. He lowered his glance for a second, before moving back to the girl, this time with a frown on his eyebrows.
