The cloud's form interesting shapes and colours I don't think I could've imagined as Geibeu and I ventured hours upon hours down the golden path. Not to mention, the silence ruled over the peaceful atmosphere. Time and time again I'd ask him where he's going. His simple response would be a gesture forward. In other words, following the golden path.

It's not that I minded not knowing where the unknown destination may be.

Sarcasm.

This man beside me hasn't said one thing since leaving the starting point. Only the occasional comfortable sigh came out of his mouth. Which boiled my blood. However, I continue to remind myself that I'm the one who tagged along. Not considering Geibeu at all.

It seems even in this world, I'm a bother and useless once again.

"Something wrong?" Syllables flowed out of Geibeu's mouth.

I look towards Geibeu and his gaze remained straight. "Nothing."

"I can tell there's something bothering you."

"I guess I feel like a burden to you."

"How so?"

"I tried numerous times to strike up a conversation and you merely replied with a gesture."

"I apologize, I had a phone call."

I raise an eyebrow. "A phone call? I didn't even hear a ring or a vibration."

Geibeu chuckled, leaving a smile behind. "Sorry. I forgot humus' have ringtones or vibrations for notifications and talks on cellular devices."

"Humus?" I asked.

"When we reach a rejuvenation site I'll elaborate."

"And how long is that going to take?"

"Another month."

"Another month? What do you mean another month?"

Geibeu's gaze went serious. "Do you mean to tell me you think it's been a few hours?"

"Not a few, an estimate of eleven hours."

"It's been a month."

"Really? That's how long I've been dead?"

"Who said you were dead?"

"I'm not dead...? I thought..."

"How's this, once we reach the rejuvenation site I'll answer two questions before sleeping and two more the next day?"

"Alright."

Geibeu smiled and we kept on walking. Silence ruled the atmosphere once again, leaving me wondering. If I'm not dead, where am I?
