Chapter 14: Reunion!

Phoenix, Arizona
2:30 P.M.

I had went to Rei's, well now Yasu's house. It still looked the same, even after two years. I knocked on the door and saw Yasu. He looked taller, but still like a dork. "Oh... hey Ryoto..." He said. "Wait, RYOTO?" He screamed. "Yeah man, what's up?" I said casually. "You look so, older!" He said. "Well it's been 2 years, what do you expect I'm 21 now." I said. "Man, 21! I'm still only 20!" He said. "Yeah so no alcohol for you loser!" I said joking. He quickly invited over Kyo, who he had been in contact with over the long amount of time. "RYOTO!!!" Kyo said when she got here. She started hugging me and I saw tears of joy on her face. "It's been so loooong Ryo-Senpai!" She said. "STOP WITH THE SENPAI CRAP!" I said almost shouting. She still didn't care. I called up Ren, who I had kept in contact with to brag about my training to, and he came over. "Wassup man." He said. He looked older, but still the same. "What's up man." I said. We quickly started to arm wrestle, only for neither of us to win, and break the table. "DUDE WHAT THE HECK?!?!" Yasu screamed. I apologized and gave him the money for another one. Yuu was the last to arrive, and everybody was staring at her. "You, look, AMAZING!" I told her. I knew it was a trap, but still, she did look way better. For one she had dyed her hair to a teal, and she had finally started looking like an actual person, not a model. "It's not that big a deal, what about me Ryo?" Kyo said sad. "Huh, oh yeah you look good too." I told her. "Looks like your little crush prefers me better, although I like Ren, I wouldn't mind stealing your crush Kyo." Yuu said in a "I'm the better one" voice. Suddenly they started fighting. "CALM DOWN!" Yasu said. They both stopped noticing they would break something. They started apologizing and for about 15 minutes they wouldn't stop saying sorry. "I'm gonna go insane..." me and Ren said. "Well then, I hope you all know why I asked for you all to meet up after two years, I have found out that Kai had an apprentice!" Yasu said. "WHAT!" Everybody said. "Oh wait, I forgot to tell you that... whoops?" Yasu said. We all gave him a death stare as he started getting scared. "Well anyways, Kai's apprentice was there to help him develop these." Yasu said asking for the crystals. I gave them to him. "These are sealing crystals, they can seal powers in order to restrain somebody, right now we have two, an empty one, and my sisters." He said. "With these, if you want somebody's power, or it has gotten out of control, you can seal them in these. So say Ryoto's power got too strong and almost killed him. We would seal the ability that would kill him in this." He explained. "Right now I only know of 5 existing, but Kai's apprentice could have made more. These are very important to finding the source of our powers!" He said. "Our next mission, is to find the rest of these!" He said.
