The next morning, the Auriella woke up and pushed his arm off of her softly trying not to wake him up and went to get ready for the day. She decided today was a sweatpant and t-shirt day so that's exactly what she wore.

She walked over to her dresser and pulled out some dark grey sweatpants that read 'Liberty Volleyball' down the side and just a plain blue t-shirt. Once she gathered her clothes she made her way to her bathroom to get ready for school.

Walking out of the bathroom with wet hair she made her way to her mirror and sat down on the floor. Montgomery was still asleep so she tried to remain as quiet as possible, the events of last night, unfortunately, continued to run through her head.

After about 20 minutes she was done her light makeup and began to work on her hair. She decided to do a messy bun since her hair had pretty much dried within the time that she got dressed and did her makeup. As she was brushing her hair up she noticed Monty begin to move around and wake up.

She quickly gathered her things putting it all where it belonged and left the room to grab a granola bar and head out to school. She placed her headphones in her ears and grabbed her bookbag to make her way to school.

The walk from their house to school was about 35 minutes so she didn't mind, she wanted to clear her mind anyways. She listened to music and let her thoughts escape her mind, sometimes things got a little too much so she would take a walk to anywhere really.

She was about 3 blocks away from the school when she heard a horn, Monty's horn. She tried to ignore it but obviously it was a car horn how can one ignore that?

"Babe!" nothing.

"Ella!" she kept walking.

"Auriella!" she continued.

"Come on you can't walk 2 and a half miles like this."

"I've made it this far Monty, just go" she spoke not even turning to look at him as she kept walking.

"Come on Ella, get in the car. We can talk come on"

"I don't want to talk right now Montgomery, just go."

Monty slammed his steering wheel and sped off leaving the girl to walk alone once again.

She continued her walk blasting her music the rest of the way until she finally made it to liberty. She walked in and went straight to her locker to gather her belongings for the day.

"Baby cousin" Jeff spoke from behind the girl kissing the top of her head.

"Hey J, big game tonight?"

"Yeah, coach has scouts coming out and stuff. I um, I'm kind of nervous." he spoke honestly to his cousin. She was the only one he felt he could be vulnerable around, they were best friends and cousins after all.

"You'll do great J, you know that and plus... your favorite cousin will be there." she stood back and spun around making the boy laugh.

"Of course, of course. My lucky charm" he chuckled throwing an arm around her shoulders.

"In the flesh." she laughed.

Montgomery saw their interaction and wished he didn't let the little things like the fact that she was with Scott for almost 2 years and he wasn't Scott bother him. He was Montgomery and he could never compare to Scott Reed.

The day glided as it usually did before they got together but it was different for him.

All he could think about was him.

He walked down the hall alone today and made his way to the cafeteria. His blood boiled at the sight of Auriella and Scott laughing together at lunch but she still sat across from him so Monty could sit next to her.
