drew and matty sat in drew's trailer waiting to film their scenes and watching some show on the small tv. they were in one of the first weeks of filming.

matty fumbled with her rings as she leaned into drew who had his arm wrapped around her. she sat up and turned to look at drew who looked back at her with slightly widened eyes.

"um im late," matty stared into drew's eyes.

"late to what? we don't start our scenes for like another hour."

"no-no. um im late for my period."

"oh," drew looked away from matty's eyes and ran his fingers through his hair. "shit."

"yeah," matty breathed out as she watched drew's face.

"um, do you want me to get a test?"

matty nodded before drew pulled her into his arms. she laid her head on his chest and tried to focus on his breathing.

"i'll get some before we go home."

"thank you."

the door opening brought matty out from her bedroom, hoping to see maddie, bailey, and austin but instead seeing drew.

"i think this is the first time i've ever been upset that you walked through the door," matty joked as she walked up to drew. he sat the bags on the kitchen counter and took her in his arms.

"why's that?"

"im scared."

"the matty king? scared? holy shit. never thought i'd see the day."

"oh shut up." silence surrounded the couple as they stood in the kitchen in each other's arms listening to their breath and heartbeat.

"what if we have a kid?" matty asked, her voice muffled from his shoulder.

"then we have a kid. i think it would be an honor for you to be my baby momma."

"everything's so simple with you drew. isnt it?" matty asked kinda joking, kinda serious.

"listen matty, i want us to be simple. we are simple. thats just who we are. this isn't simple, baby. but we don't have to make it even harder than it already is going to be.

i am going to be here for you, with you until i die or you get a restraining order on me. i am not leaving you. willingly, at least." drew told the girl in his arms who was silently crying.

"drew starkey i am hopelessly in love with you. and if we do end up having a kid right now, he is going to have the best damn life we can give it.

even if we don't have one right now, i know i want one with you. i want to have a life with you. if im being honest drew. i don't think i want one right now. it could be too much," matty whispered the last few words into drew's chest as drew brings her closer to his chest.

a knock on the door brought the couple out of their bubble. drew went to open the door as matty wiped her tears off her face.

"hi guys," cline greets as she looked at her best friend who had looked like she hasn't been crying into her boyfriend. she looked completely fine, but everyone knew she wasn't.

"hey, maddies, aussie," matty greeted with a smile as she walked over to austin to give him a quick hug and hugs to the maddies.

"have you taken it yet?" austin asked.

"no, i was waiting on y'all."

"go take it babe." maddie cline said as she took the box from the back and her hand.

"madison," matty glanced at madison who nodded and followed them to the bathroom.

after matty followed the instructions on the box she set a timer for three minutes.

"so matty, do you want a kid?" madison asked as they all sat in the bathroom with the boys still in the living room.

"uh eventually. not right now i think. i definitely want one with drew. our careers might be really starting. i have a shot of being on vogue now. my manager has been in contact with them. im on a successful netflix show, so is drew. drew can really go somewhere i think. if he keeps doing what he's doing, he's going to do great things," matty explained to the two girls who listened. "i love him a lot."

the timer went off signaling the test was ready. matty picked it up as madelyn and madison peaked to look at the test.

"oh shit."
