Y/N pov

Harry had just basically confessed to me when I quickly ran back to the common room after he left and immediately went to tell Draco and the others. I can't believe Harry actually liked me? How could this happen at this time of all times! As I got to the common room, I stopped before I walked in and stated the password. But should I tell Draco? He would just get really mad. And it's not that big of a deal anyways, I mean Harry's probably over it by now, so there's no reason to tell Draco. I walked in and took a seat next to Draco and Isla.

"Where were you?" Draco asked, worriedly. Aw, he's so cute when he's protective.

"Yeah, it's been like 15 minutes since you left dinner," Isla pointed out.

"Uhh, I was walking back from dinner," I lied, that was honestly the best excuse I could come up with, and there was absolutely no thought put into it at all.

"For 15 minutes?" Asked Isla, clearly skeptical of the situation. I nodded and she put her hand on her cheek. "Ugh, come on. You were definitely not walking back from dinner, that shouldn't take that long. And I better not have to beg you to tell me, because you're going to tell anyway, so tell." She said. I raised my eyebrows and sighed. But it's not that big of a deal!

"Well..." I drifted off.

"Go on," Isla said as she waved her hand. Draco looked eager to hear the story too. He was clearly worried while waiting for me so he was probably anxious to know.

"Okay, fine."

"So... what happened?" Asked Isla, curiously.

"I was walking back to the common room after I left dinner, and Harry pulled me into the empty classroom," I explained.

"He what!" Yelled Draco and Isla in unison. Draco took my hand and pouted, "He better not do that again," he pronounced.

"Oooo! Are you jealous?" Isla smirked, turning towards Draco. He glared at Isla and turned around, crossing his arms.

"Not like that, I swear. Anyway, he basically asked what I was doing at Hogsmeade with you," I said as I pointed to Draco. "I told him that we were together now-"

"Hey! You never told me you were together!" Complained Isla. I completely forgot that we hadn't told anyone yet... oops.

"Oh ya, well, surprise?" I awkwardly responded as Draco rolled his eyes and Isla silently clapped and smiled.

"So basically, he literally freaked out and became really sad and stuff. He then essentially told me he liked me and that he was gonna tell me yesterday but he got nervous, but he said he was too late."

"Actually?" Whispered Isla.

"That literal imbecile," sighed Draco.

"Don't say anything to him," I pleaded, I hoped he wouldn't so they wouldn't get into an argument.

"How can I not say anything if he literally confessed to you, probably expecting for you to break up with me and for you to tell him how much you love him! Ugh, that idiot..." Draco snapped.

"No, that doesn't make sense, why would he do that?" I questioned, trying to steer Draco away from the idea of saying something.

"I'm going up there," he said as he stood up, confidently but angrily at the same time.

"What? No!" I said as I stood up too.

"Um, yes! This is like so dramatic I have to see this," said Isla as she stood up with a bright smile. Draco started quickly walking out of the common room and attempting to find Harry. I chased after him as Isla gasped and ran over to Blaise and Pansy in the common room.

"Draco stop!" I quietly screamed, making sure not to catch anybody else's attention. The hallways were empty but I didn't want to take any chances.

"I have to," he replied as he started walking quicker.

"Draco!" I yelled, raising my voice, not paying attention to anything else. He stopped and looked back at me as I immediately caught up to him. "Don't do this, you don't have to."

"But I don't want you to get more hurt!"

"I won't, just don't go over there. I promise you it won't make anything better if you go!" We stood there in silence before I spoke again. "It doesn't matter if Harry is mad or not... it doesn't matter if he likes me or if I like him..."

"Y/N-"

"Because I like you, and in this situation, Harry shouldn't matter," I professed. "only you and me." I cringed at my own words, to be honest. I could've come up with something better to say but I was too caught up in the moment to think too much about that. Draco didn't even say anything but I knew that he understood what I meant, and slowly walked back over to me. When he came over, he looked at me with his beautiful grey eyes and pulled me into a gentle kiss. I closed my eyes as he put his arm around me and pulled me closer, savoring every last moment of the embrace. We broke apart and I blushed before giving him a hug and holding his hand. "Please, don't go over there."

"Don't worry," he smiled. "I won't."
