Payback (#Completed)

This is actually supposed to be a one shot, but since it's difficult for me to type everything on one chapter, this may get three or four chapters long.

- Zhang Yuan.

The morning haven't fully risen yet when two voices shouting and arguing against each other is heard from a shared room in an all boy's hostel. This had became a common occurrence for some days by now. These two people had became a discussion topic for neighbouring room occupants already, who were bound to disrupt the quiet atmosphere of the hostel from the very morning itself on a daily basis.

"Do you have any idea who you are playing with, Shen Wei? That man is danger. He looks danger, sounds danger, everything about him screams danger. Still why are you after him? Why couldn't you just leave him?"
Zhang Yuan in his despair, nearly screamed.

"Cuz I like to play with danger? And I absolutely know who I am dealing with, Zhang Yuan. Don't unnecessarily put your nose into my affairs."

Shen Wei snapped, his voice resounding rage. No matter what Zhang Yuan had to say, he has no interest in giving him ear. He heard enough from his friend.

Not anymore. No more.

He stood up from his bed. He had made up his mind already and there will be no turning back. He walked over to the almirah on the corner of their room, opened it and took his bag, began to walk around the room picking his things up and furiously stuffing them into it.

"What the heck you think you are doing, Shen Wei?" Zhang Yuan asked with a worried face as he noticed his friend's actions, following him around the room.

"Can't you see for yourself what I am doing, Zhang Yuan? I am leaving this place. I am leaving you. I really had enough of your lectures."

Zhang Yuan couldn't accept what he heard. Desperation flowed into his veins as the need to pull Shen Wei back from leaving him aroused in his heart.

"Please listen to me Shen Wei. Just think about it. You deserve better than this!"

Shen Wei had done his packing and was about to go out when Zhang Yuan stepped onto his way, blocking him from going towards the door.

"Zhang Yuan, you have no authority to decide what's better for me. Now move out of my way"

Zhang Yuan and  Shen Wei are friends from uni for three years, most importantly, roommates in the same hostel. Zhang Yuan has been crushing on Shen Wei since the first year on their University, since the very first day he get to know this beautiful youth who has the most enchanting eyes that has the ability to pull anyone towards it. His heart overly rejoiced when he get to know that this same person is going to be his roommate. From that day onwards, he tried his level best to get the attention of his crush. He tried to show his affection through many ways. But still, Shen Wei remained only his friend. No boundaries crossed. It was like Shen Wei was completely oblivious of his obvious affection.

And extremely to his chagrin, his crush who didn't even spared a moment to think about his love for him, falls head over heels for a man who is much older than him. And on top of that, the man is an underground mob boss, a dangerous gangster and a ruthless criminal who wouldn't hesitate a single second to destroy and kill off anyone who stands against him.

And Zhang Yuan could not accept that. He could not understand what he lacks when compared to that man, to get this much dejected by Shen Wei. He is of Shen Wei's age. He is not a criminal or a mafia boss like that man. Shen Wei could have a peaceful life with him than with that man. Yet..., Why Shen Wei isn't trying to understand him.

He tried to reprimand Shen Wei many times and it often ends in arguing with each other. Today their dispute got a little intense to which Shen Wei eventually decided to move out. He felt in mind that if once Shen Wei pass through that door, he would never have a chance with him again.

Never again.

And Zhang Yuan cannot allow this. He absolutely cannot allow his Shen Wei to stray like this and jump into danger. The sense of possessiveness he is feeling towards Shen Wei, is driving him into extreme madness. The urge to subdue what he couldn't possibly get in this lifetime, took over him.

Without thinking about the consequences, Zhang Yuan tugged Shen Wei's arms and slammed him to the wall. In shock of the unexpected behaviour from his roommate, Shen Wei's bag fell from his hands. His heartbeat thrummed high as he couldn't get free from the hold of person who have a stronger stature than him. And the next moment, those lips are against his own, kissing him.

Shen Wei's eyes widened in the shock of extremely dissatisfying development of events. When he managed to get back his strength, he pushed off Zhang Yuan from his body and heavily slapped him.
The slap that made Zhang Yuan felt offended.

Sadness and anger flashed on his face. More than the pain from the slap, it is the slap itself that is hurting him now. And he doesn't want to get rejected just like this. Not since he has been longing for him like three plus years. As if he is possessed, he barged forwards and grabbed Shen Wei's hair from the back of his head and crushed his lips into those thin lips, sucking and biting into them. Shen Wei muffled in pain and in a fight to get back the dominance, he furiously bit him back and pushed Zhang Yuan so hard that Zhang Yuan fell on the floor on his back.

Both of their faces are flushed red and the pairs of eyes that are looking at each other are on verge of tears that could flow down any moment, their lips swollen to a darker shade. Shen Wei's soft lips are cracked at the corners and slightly bleeding.

Hissing in pain, Shen Wei wiped the blood from lips with the thumb of his left hand. His body slightly shivering due to the forced exertions.

"You and me are over Zhang Yuan. Don't you dare to come in front of my sight ever again."

A drop of tear rolled down his eye when Shen Wei turned around to pick his bag up that fell from his hands earlier. He twisted opened the door knob and left, slamming the door behind him.

Zhang Yuan was still on the floor, he was like totally paralyzed. As soon as he realised that Shen Wei left him, he broke into tears, crying loudly by forcefully grabbing his own hair, thinking about how he messed up every last bit of his chance that he had with Shen Wei. He was feeling heart wrenching pain on the thought of his unrequited love for Shen Wei for three years.

But still he shouldn't have act like this. Shen Wei might be hating him to the core now. Shen Wei doesn't belong to him anymore. And he wasn't even his from the beginning. On mere thought of this unlucky fate, Zhang Yuan broke more and more, his tears shedding uncontrollably.
