Thirteen years back.

On an evening, in the serene outskirts of a small and beautiful village.

A man around late thirties and a young boy of ten are walking through the garden, they were on their way to home from a village fair. The boy is playfully swinging his father's hand to which he has a hold on, and was raining down his father with his doubts and queries he thinks as something grave, but are actually silly. His other hand is holding balloon toys that are drifting in air, which his father brought for him from the fair.

"Papa, is it true that, that is not a real dragon? There are people inside?"

"Ofcourse it's not real haha. Those are people inside the dragon costume."

"Papa, but I didn't get to see the dragon today." The boy remembered.

"Don't worry, we can see them again."

"Woah! Does that mean we are going tomorrow too?" The boy asked again with his huge cute eyes, in excitement. His father chuckled.

"Ofcourse we can go again son. But only if you promise me one thing."

"What is it Papa? I can promise you anything."

"What is your score in mathematics again?" The kid's head dropped and his lips curled into a pout.

"But, papa..."

Before he can continue, two loud gunshots are heard which flew towards them, splitting through the air. The man pushed his kid away from his hold suddenly and before he can move from the point blank, the bullets already fazed through his chest, dropping him down on the ground. The boy screamed at the sight of the blood splattering from his father's chest and fainted on the spot because of the immediate surge of shock and fright into his brain.

But, only after engraving the picture of the cold blood murderer he saw from the distance, in his heart. The man who took his world from him forever.

Shen Wei clicked his eyes open, heaving heavy breaths, high and low. His heart beat is racing to it's maximum. Small drops of sweat are dripping from his entire body. He feels sticky all over. The same nightmare that has been haunting him for years still hasn't intensified down. Not even for a single night. Each and every day it came back to him shaking his entire self to the core, with more force, with more trepidation. Instilling him with more hatred towards the man who stole his beloved father from him, who snatched his whole world away from him.

After a few minutes, he could feel the heavy arms of the man wound around waist, hugging his naked body. He can feel all the hate deep down his heart surging to his brain as he looked at the man cuddled to him. The one who is the source of all his pain. The one who became the soul reason of what he became now.

Shen Wei hasn't had an easy life after the death of his father.
It wasn't easy for Shen Wei to live through the world, to survive the world without his father, his only true family he ever had.

His father although born in a very high class family in the society, was kicked out from his family for marrying a woman who doesn't reach up to the status of their riches. The ones who instigated behind him was his own greedy and evil relatives who wanted all the shares of the family to themselves, as he was the most favoured one in their family.

His mother left them with another lover once she gave birth to Shen Wei. Leaving a little baby of only four weeks old in the care of it's father. Then only his father realised that, the lecherous woman was also a part of their evil relative's plan.

His father was already a broken man. He was someone who lost everything he hold dear in the world, who got cheated by the ones whom he believed and trusted as his blood relatives and loyal friends.

Yet still, he was not ready to yield to the cruel fate. He find his happiness in the little bundle of joy that he was left with. He became a father and a mother both, for his son. He poured his son with so much love and care, more than anyone could give him. And Shen Wei grew up as a very obedient and nice boy, under his father. They became each other's world, each other's sole company.

And everything got destroyed over a cursed, dreadful evening. It was like Shen Wei's soul got tore away mercilessly from him. The little boy's mind turned out like broken shreds of a glass vase, at the very young age.

After his father's demise, Shen Wei was tossed between his heartless relatives, who were never interested in taking in and caring a boy who is a potential threat for their claims in family shares. He never had a peaceful and permanent home after then.

Even though he was sent to school, he was bullied and mocked by his so called classmates. Because he has a very beautiful and delicate appearance resembling that of a girl. Mostly because he had no one to complain for him or speak for him if anything happens to him. He was even forced to strip down by his friends to prove that he is a boy. He got beaten up and harassed very badly whenever he opposed them. At some point, he was even hospitalized. But he never tried to run away from them. He always tried to stood on his stand. He was a fighter. That's how his father taught him.

And one day, the constant bullying came to a sudden halt. His bullies began to avoid him and some began to fear him. Just because of how he teared off a certain one who tried to show who is the man among them, or because of how nobody charged anything against him for nearly killing his bully.

But by then, he was broken beyond repair. He became a walking doll without emotions. His heart filled with hate and anger. He despised his mother who left him in the beginning, despised his greedy and evil relatives who set his father up for money, most of all, he despised the man who took his beloved father.

Shen Wei changed.
Beyond recognition of his older self.

And it was when he started his highschool, he found his reason to look up for the upcoming days. When his eyes caught sight of the one who turned his life to this turmoil. He appeared in front of Wei's eyes again, in a news column which was reiterating a particular gang war. His hatred, disgust and revenge; once again streamed towards this man.

And that's how he began searching for Zhao Yunlan. And why he approached him. And why he yank his heart and earned his trust. Why he even gave up his virginity for this man. To destroy the man like how he became a cause for his own destruction.
