"So you decided to show up after all, huh?"

Lilith and I were standing in line at the ticket booth, when Rilynn walked up to us. She was wearing a red turtle neck and high waisted black pants. They were ripped in several places, exposing strips of skin. Black heelboots to match the look. Her makeup was done in much the same way I'd seen her the first time. Black smokey eyes making the hazel colour of her irises pop out, lips painted a blood red. Her black hair was tied in a high ponytail starting at the crown of her head. She was beautiful, save for her ugly attitude.

"It was a long walk." I told her, looking pointedly at Lilith.

An amused look crossed her face, "Barely. That's three miles from where you live."

I huffed. Next thing you know, they'd be telling you swimming in the Arkansas River was their hobby.

"Are you not gonna introduce us to your new friend, Rilynn?" A male voice interrupted my thoughts. I turned my attention towards said voice and that's when I realised there were two guys standing just behind Rilynn. They were both tall and had a slightly rugged appearance. "The name's Carter." He held his hand out, not waiting for Rilynn to introduce him to me.

I hesitated before taking his hand. "Nice to meet you Carter, I'm Cynthia."

Wait, Carter? Where have I heard that before?

"Fifteen tickets please." I vaguely heard Lilith talking to the person over the counter. Her voice quivering visibly.

Ding. That's right! Carter was Lilith's crush.

I turned to observe the guy. He was tall, about 5'10 or so, his hair the colour of the sand, styled to perfection. A slight stubble was visible along his jaw, covering the lower portion of his face.

He wore a black t-shirt with a skull drawn on it. It was skintight, clinging to his biceps. There were also tiny holes visible in the t-shirt, either from overuse or for the sake of fashion. I'd like to believe it was the latter. His dull jeans were ripped and clung to his skinny legs, feet covered with a pair of plain black trainers.

The thing about him that set me off was the enormous tattoo covering his whole neck. It looked as if two hands of a skeleton were grabbing his neck, strangling him.

And to think someone as innocent as Lilith had a crush on a guy who wore death like a crown.

"Would you quit checking him out." Lilith hissed in my ear, the back of her hand hitting my arm.

"I was merely observing." I raised my hands in surrender. "This is the guy you like? Really?"

"Hushh!" She hit me again. "You don't have to announce it!" She whispered.

"You could do way better." I whispered back.

"Are you guys ready to go?" We both turned our heads towards Carter and nodded.

All five of us started walking towards where most of the rides were. Lilith slowly and subtly tried to move towards Carter but I still noticed.

"So where are we going first?" The other guy, who didn't bother introducing himself to me, asked Carter, who was busy flirting with my blonde friend. They seemed to be in their own little world.

I rolled my eyes.

"You know what? Lets take you to the photo booth, Jason." Rilynn smirked at him." You look like you need to get laid."

Oh, so his name is Jason. I should've known. Rilynn had mentioned him just this morning in the common room.

"Oh hell no! I've already been in that twice this night. It's your turn, Ri pie." Jason pinched her ear, pulling at it lightly.
