Chapter 16: Scary Ghosts!

   The girls quietly left the sign as they went toward the school entrance. They looked around as Lisa opened the doors, allowing two ghosts to come out, startling them. "Whoa!" They screamed as Verena jumped at Mallory's arms again in fear.

"Ghosts! They're here!" said Bailey.

"They're still here, girls." said Holly as she gestured her friends to follow her.

The girls went inside the school as they looked for Kitty. They saw the classrooms and wondered where she is. "Kitty? Kitty?" Lisa asked as she carefully avoided some ghosts who are chatting. "Are you there?" She continued as she opened the classroom door, only to see the same ghost, who scared them.

"Ghost!" Holly screamed.

"Run away!" Vivian shouted.

The ghost started to chase Lisa, Holly and their friends as they struggle to avoid being kidnapped. They went into a chase sequence as they entered every door in the corridor. The three girls went to a room while the ghost followed them. Nikki, Portia and Bailey are riding in three skateboards while Verena and Mallory are running to another room. They kept chasing each other as the sequence ended. After some hours of pursuit, Holly listened to a noise in the gym.

"Did you girls hear that?" She asked.

"It's Kitty!" Lisa exclaimed.

The girls went to the gym where they see Kitty, who is captured by the ghost for coming to school. They were shocked that the ghost threw a white sheet at her as the group walked quietly and approached her. "That ghost threw a white sheet at her." remarked Lisa.

"Are you sure? If it's my mom, I hope so." Verena claimed naively.

"I don't think if that's your mom."

The brunette picked up the sheet and uncovered it to reveal Kitty, bound and gagged. "Kitty!" Lisa was surprised as she untied the rope and removed the gag from her. "I thought you left us!" She stated as she happily hugged her.

"Lisa! What are you doing here? I thought that the ghost would get you!" said Kitty.

"I know! We're here to save you!"

"Lisa's right. We're sorry for bringing you to school." said Holly.

"We did our best moments, remember girl?" said Nikki. "We were in the fashion store!"

"We watched the fountain!"

"We were sprayin' each other, dawg!" said Portia as she chuckled.

Their happy conversation was short-lived as the ghost appeared and scared them. He started to chase aggresively after the girls as they left the gym in order to escape. The girls ran away as the ghost kept chasing them.

"Keep going, girls! The ghost is in our tail!" stated Holly.

"So scary! Really Scary, man!" said Bailey.

"I see dead people! I see dead people!" Verena shouted frantically.

"I wasn't expecting Nancy Thompson!" Steffie thought.

"What do you expect, Syd Prescott?" said Mallory.

The girls went to the library as they shutted the door behind themselves. Portia pulled out a spray paint and formed a "X" in the door to resemble a do not cross tape.

"Tell me, Lisa, what are we going to do? If I were a stranger, I would call anyone!" claimed Maureen.

"We're gonna be killed!" said Nikki.

"Girls, I have a plan!" said Lisa.

Later, the girls transformed the whole library into a film scene in order to trick the ghost. He bursted through the door and looked for Lisa and Holly.

"Hey, you!" Lisa shouted tauntingly.

The ghost turned to see the brunette carrying a bottle of ketchup and sprayed at him with it. Angered, the ghost started to chase her before Lisa defended herself with a frying pan.

"How do you like that, eh?"

"Hey, Mr. Ghost!" Verena taunted him as well.
