Bad Friend

I'm low key sad today, so I gonna tell one of my sad stories. 🙃

Ok so, I'm in band and I had a friend named Faith, She was my best and only friend.
The band plays at the High school football games.
And the night before we where at an away game.
We all had to put our instruments in the school trailer to bring back home.
I play the flute by the way.
And we got them back the next morning.
Well that morning I went to go get my flute out and I had it.
I took it out ok the case to make sure it was all there like I left, like I always do.
And Faith asked to hold it.
And since she's also in the band I thought I could trust her to not be an idiot and drop my 1000$ flute on the concrete!
HO BOY WAS I WRONG!
I was so terrified because I knew it was probably broken, but I didn't know how badly, And I was so upset but I didn't want to tell her that because then she would get mad. I was also scared that my parents would be mad at me because I didn't know how much the repair fee was going to be.
May I might add she didn't apologize once! She just cep blaming it on me for giving it to her.
Later that day at lunch we planned to go together. Because we have off campus lunch.
And I had to talk to my band teacher about my flute and found out that the repair fee was 55$, so I was gonna be a few minutes late. And I told her that.
She decides to go without me and instead go with her boyfriend, witch she did not tell me.
I thought maybe she was in the bathroom or something and didn't think to tell me. So I waited a few minutes and I didn't see her anywhere. So I called her and she hung up on me.
So I called her again and she picked up the time and said in the most
Irritated voice she said WHAT DO YOU WANT!
And I told her that my flute was broken and the repair fee was 55$. She said ok and hung up.
I walked down the the convenient store they went to and found her and her boyfriend and she was crying.
So me being a good friend told her its ok we could sort all this out later and it wasn't her fault, even though it was.
Then on the way back to school I called my mom and told her, and of course she was not happy with me and same goes for my dad.
The told me to sort everything out with her.
So the next day I tried talking yo her but she was going out her way to ignore me.
And she left me at lunch again, so I ended up eating alone in the cafeteria for the next few days.
After school when I got home and my parents figured out I didn't talk with her about it they got mad of course.
So the next day I finally got a hold of her a said I'll pay 30$ and you pay 25$ for the fee, And she agreed.
I asked her about it the next day and she said she could have it to me by Friday, since that's the day her parents get paid.
And I was fine with that.
She continued to ignore and avoid me.
Well Friday came along and I ask in science class about it. We both have that class right after lunch. and she said her dad forgot.
And me being way to nice said ok, and went along with my day.
The next day o asked again in the same class and she yelled at me at said, "I SAID MY DAD FOR GOT!" And I finally go some guts and responded with "well maybe you dad needs to get a little more responsibility."
She says "what did you say about my dad!?"
I said "you hurd me." and went back to my work totally ignoring her for the rest of the day.
I think the teachers was get the hint that something wasn't right.
I gave her 2 more days to get it to me, the 2nd day she came up and gave me 15$and I asked where the rest was and she rudely responded with "I'll get it to you when I can!" And I of course said it was fine because I'm way to nice.
I asked her about the other 10$ 2 days later, I was trying to get a hold of her all day but the only time I could talk to her was in Silence calls because we sit next to each other and she was avoiding me all day.
I said her name trying to get her attention about 10 times before she turned around and said "What?!" I Said " Do you have the other 10$ yet?" And she responded with "Don't you know some of us have to work for our money?!" And she broke down in tears, I'm 100% sure she did it just for attention.
And the the teacher came up to us and asked her if she needed to go to the office, and she said yes. He then looks at me and says "was that really necessary to say that in class to her? Don't you have any other time you couldhave asked that?" Then I said "It was just a simple yes or no question! how I supposed to know she was gonna be over dramatic?"
The he walked away, and went back to his desk.
And now everyone thinks I'm this terrible person who makes people cry.
When she came back to class she sat down and didn't look at me.
When class was finally over I was walking out and saw a girl giving Faith 10$ and she didn't even have the gets to give it to me. She gave it to one of her friends which i didn't like her either and she came up to me and stuck her hand out to hand me the money. I said "What's this?" She said "It's the money, now take it" I looked at her and said " Where did you get it?" She said "It doesn't matter,  just take it and leave." Then I responded with " I knowexactlywhereyou go from! I was that girl hand it to you and Faith! Well she doesn't owe me anything! Does she!" She then continued to shove it in my face. So I grabbed it and said "Fine! As long as all this is over and I didn't have to talk to you anymore!" And then we both stormed off.
Well after about a month, I was talking to one of her friends at lunch and he kept trying to tell me how wrong I was and how terrible of a person I was for wanting what was mine. He then continues to tell me how much she always used to complain about how annoying I was and how I would never leave he alone.
I then said "Well I'm so sorry for trying to hang out with my "bestfriend" and threw my tray away and walked away.

This all happened about maybe 8 months ago and every one that was involved in it I still haven't talked to and I don't plan on it anytime soon!
