My Hero Academia: One-Shots

☁️Adopting Eri (pt. 2)☁️

Y/n Aizawa and Shota Aizawa walked into the hospital, practically running to the elevator. They got in and pressed floor 5, to get to Eri's room.

"Are you sure about this?" Y/n asked. "You aren't going to back out later?"

"No," Shota said. "I've wanted this since I met her. She just seemed kinda like me. I was sort of afraid of my quirk when I was younger. I want to help her grow and learn."

"Me too," Y/n whispered. She leaned her head into her husband's shoulder as the elevator travelled up.

When it finally let off, there was a very tired looking Tsukauchi standing there. He handed then papers and yawned.

"Could this not have waited?" he asked them.

"We're too excited," Y/n said. "When we talked, it just... got us so happy. We both want to bring her home right now."

"Well it's all in order," he said. "She's ready to be released from the hospital. If you'll stop by my office tomorrow then we can finish the adopting process, just a little bit of paperwork."

"Thank you for doing this," Shota told him. "We owe you."

The couple walked into the room together. Eri was awake, looking up at the ceiling. When she saw them coming in, she sat up curiously.

"What are you doing here?" she asked.

"We came to take you home," Shota told her.

"Home?" she asked.

"To our home," Y/n said.

"Why?" Eri asked.

"Because," Shota said. "We're going to adopt you."

"What does that mean?" Eri asked, looking between the two.

"It means that we'll be your new mommy and daddy."

Eri faced brightened, and she smiled. "Really?" she asked. "I can be with you guys and see all my friends."

Y/n nodded, "Of course."

"Can I go now?" Eri asked.

"Yep," Shota said. "Come on."

Eri jumped into Y/n's arms. She carried the girl out of the room, with Shota following. They took Eri home and became a happy family.
