Awkward was the best way to describe your day. Todoroki didn't warn you that he was taking you to one of the most expensive malls, so you showed up in a t-shirt and jeans, which didn't exactly blend in with everyone else. The first thing you had done was eat lunch, and the bill had been more than you spent on food in a whole month.

Next you had gone to a shop that sold fancy dresses and you had gotten a fancy evening gown to wear that night. It had cost more than a hospital visit would. You tried to tell him you didn't need something this fancy, but he wouldn't listen. Besides, he told you, it was actually his dad buying everything.

He had gotten your hair done for the night, and he had bought you jewelry, and he did everything you wanted. He even left you to pick out your own shoes, while he went off somewhere else. You didn't know where, and you didn't really care. You got to pick out your own shoes. While he was gone, you contemplated running away, but decided against it.

After you got back to your dorm, you only had about an hour to relax before you had to get ready. That hour  had been spent trying to push out of your mind everything that was about to happen. Shoto had made it clear that if you didn't convince his dad that you were madly in love with Shoto, then that video would be out to everyone.

That's why you were practicing how you would introduce yourself. Endeavor couldn't know that Shoto knew about the both of you.

The time had come to put on your dress. You unzipped the bag it was hanging up in, and brought it out. As you laid it across your bed, you saw a note attached to the dress.

"You're going to look gorgeous in this," it read. "I hope you are ready. -Shoto."

You had to admit to yourself, Shoto knew how to make you feel good about yourself. That's what you kinda liked about him, he was genuine and nice. You still didn't want to got through with this though.

Reluctantly, you slid your dress on over your head. You zipped it up and looked into the mirror. It was a dress that Shoto had picked out, but damn, you did look amazing in it.

You were making sure your hair and jewels looked ok when you heard a knock on your door. Shoto opened it and stepped in, looking at you.

"You look gorgeous," he said grabbing your hand and bringing it to his lips. You watched as he kissed your small hand, and you couldn't help but blush. This was a type of affection you hadn't seen in a while.

"Shall we get going?" he asked you.

You nodded you hand and grabbed your clutch with your phone in it. He intertwined your fingers together as you exited your dorms. You followed him down the stairs and through the common room where Mina, Kirishima, Sero, and Bakugo where playing a drinking game.

As you passed by, Mina squealed. "Where are you two going?"

"Hero gala," you said smiling brightly.

"Have fun," Kirishima said.

"Don't be too loud when you two get back," Sero laughed.

You both walked out of the building and into the waiting limo. Yeah, you were quite familiar with this limo, you had been in it several times with your favorite flame hero.

Shoto sat right next to you, keeping his hand on your leg the whole time. You hated to admit it, but his hand being so close made your core heat up.

The ride to the gala was fairly short, but it felt like forever for you. Shoto didn't say anything, but kept you close.  When you finally arrived, there were many reporters outside, waiting to watch the heroes arrive.
