Hope successfully managed to survive English class without drawing much attention to herself. Raf was wondering what the hell was going on because Hope was usually anything but quiet in her favourite class.

"Hey, are you okay? You're really quiet and you can talk for the whole of the US normally." Raf asked with furrowed brow once Hope had breathed a sigh of relief as the bell ringing was music to her ears.

"Yeah I'm good, just... tired that's al" Hope slyly looked up as she shoved her books into her bag before slinging it onto one shoulder.

"Oh okay." Hope wasn't really listening to Rafael as she followed him towards the door, too busy focusing on the fact she could feel Josie's eyes burning right through her.

"Hope can I have a word with you?" Hope internally screamed as Josie's soft voice said her name. The brunette scrunched up her face.

"Dude, I'll catch up with you." Hope patted Rafael on the shoulder before slowly spinning around on her heel as Rafael left, cringing as she did so, not daring to open her eyes just yet.

"A high school senior? Really?!" Josie whisper yelled as soon as the door clicked behind Rafael.

"Okay first of all, locate your chill. And secondly, I'm sorry but I had no choice but to lie about my age." Hope tried to calm the situation down by speaking softer than the older woman but of course Hope's luck is terrible.

"Why? Because you're still of age where your parents can still ground you?" Josie sighed in frustration, leaning her elbows on her desk and holding her head in her hands, shaking it repeatedly as she tried to grasp what was happening.

"Ouch, hit me where it hurts." Hope quipped sarcastically, dramatically clutching her chest.

"This isn't funny." Josie replied sternly finally lifting her head.

"It is actually pretty funny because it seems like we'd make a great sitcom." Hope chuckled but instantly cut herself short as the older woman narrowed her eyes at her.

"What?...How can you be so calm about this situation Hope?" Josie asked incredulously pressing her hand to her forehead. "Oh god this is so so so very wrong." She muttered under her breath.

"Sorry I kinda make jokes when i;m uncomfortable." Hope offered a smile as she shrugged but obviously Josie didn't appreciate it.

"This is really wrong, you're like 17 and I'm 23 not to mention your teacher. It's just... Icky." Josie rambled quickly.

"Woah woah, I'm 18. And wait, I'm icky?" Hope said with a furrowed brow, pointing to herself.

"Not you just this whole situation. Look I think it would be better for the both of us if I just asked to get you transferred to another class." Josie looked up with apologetic eyes only to find Hope smirking at her. "Why are you smiling like that?"

"Just..." Hope began to walk backwards in the direction of the door. "..good luck with that. you'll need it." Hope spun around, swinging open the door before giving Josie one last smirk over her shoulder before leaving.

"What took you so long?"

"Raf i said I'd catch up- oh hey Jade." Hope smiled at the girl as all three of them started walking down the hall. Jade, Rafael and Hope had pretty much grown up together, first meeting in elementary school. They are her people, them two and Penelope are the only ones that know that she's gay. Rafael was actually crushing on Hope at one point and that's when she knew it was time to tell them that she wasn't one for the penis.

"So how's the new English teacher?" Jade asked her two best friends as they walked down the now almost empty hallway.

"She's really nice." Rafael commented. "She's pretty too." He smiled off into the distance and Hope rolled her eyes, slapping him on the chest.
