"Girls, you should get ready to leave or you're going to be late." Dr Mikaelson tightened his tie before placing a kiss on both of the girls' head's who were still sitting at the dining room table.
Hope finished off her coffee before talking. "Yeah, yeah we're going." She sighed, standing up from her chair.
"I gotta run but I'll see you both tonight. Good luck at school." Klaus left on that note and the two teenagers finally started to get ready to leave.
Hope and Penelope both got their jackets on, Hope grimacing out the window at the rain battering it's way off it. "It's September for Christ sake." Hope whined.
Penelope laughed as she pulled her hood up before throwing her back onto her shoulder. "Okay. I'm ready" The freshman said, hugging her arms around herself.
Hope screwed up her face at the fact her leather jacket didn't have a hood as she pulled her car keys out of her bag. "This is totally not something i need at this time in the morning."
"We gonna run for it?" Penelope chuckled as she watch her sister open the door.
"Totally." Hope hit unlock on her keys which made the lights of her black Audi A5 flash. Her parents were pretty well off financially so they could afford to get her a nice car, although they were on her back about getting a part time job so she could run the thing herself.
"Go go go!" The girls squealed as they locked the door behind them, running as fast as they could to the car and climbing in.
"I don't think we should be made to go to school in this weather." Hope sighed, throwing her bag onto the backseat before buckling in.
"Preach." Penelope replied, finally being bale to put her hood down. Hope put a hand on the back of Penelope's seat as she turned her head so she could see as she was reversing her car out of the driveway. "Are you gonna get a part time job?" Penelope wondered as she recalled the previous conversation over breakfast.
"Uh I guess I have to but I don't know what." Hope replied as she successfully drove out of the driveway.
"What about babysitting?" Penelope suggested, reaching forward to turn the radio on.
"Kids can smell fear, no way." Hope quickly shot down the idea, shaking her head which made Penelope chuckle.
"Kids aren't bad."
"They are so! Oh my god." Hope retorted and Penelope rolled her eyes.
"Hey, isn't that Miss Saltzman?" Penelope pointed out the window at the teacher, walking along the sidewalk, practically drenched from the rain. Hope followed Penelope's finger and almost whacked her head off the steering wheel because she very well knew that was Josie. They couldn't seem to get away from each other.
"No it's not"
"It totally is!" The younger girl protested, waving her finger around frantically as if it was going to convince her sister.
"It isn't." Hope sang. "Anyway how do you know who she is?" She asked although didn't turn to face the younger girl as she was too busy concentrating.
"She's my teacher too." Penelope furrowed her brow as she thought Hope already knew this information.
"Oh."
"Yeah 'oh' now pull over, at least giver her a ride to school." Penelope leaned to her side and tried to grab the wheel to pull towards the sidewalk but Hope let go of the wheel herself to repeatedly slap Penelope's hands away.
"Dude! You could've made us crash! No touchy of the wheel, okay?" Hope warned, pointing at Penelope with one hand as the other was back on the wheel. Penelope shook her head and rolled her window down.
