HE WOKE up with a slight headache as something poked him in the cheek. He swatted the book away with his right hand and threw the covers off the mattress. Lu shifted slightly before relaxing his body again.

Rowan got up and closed his window. The air was cold and the temperature in the room had dropped from 20°C to 15°C. Not that it was that particularly cold but the young man preferred it to stay in the twenties.

He opened the curtains letting the light inside of his room. The sky was cloudy again and there was a fifty percent chance it was going to rain. Rowan walked into his adjacent bathroom grabbing a towel from the cupboard next to the door.

He dropped it on the toilet that was facing him, his feet meeting with the fluffy white carpet on the ground as he walked to the shower in the corner.

Steam was coming out from the top and the fog on the glass blurred his outline. His back muscles slowly started to relax and for a minute he was able to forget the world.

After five minutes, the shower door finally opened. He wrapped the towel around his waist and faced the mirror.

Forest green eyes met as he stared at his reflection. The shortest lock of his hair reached behind his ears, the back hairs touched the middle of his neck and the locks on the front could easily reach his chin if not lower.

He racked a hand through the mess before letting his hand hang by his side. A small sigh left his lips as he picked up his white toothbrush. The minty taste of the toothpaste attacked his taste buds as the soft bristle nestled between his canine.

He spit out the mix of opaque saliva into the sink and wiped his mouth. His breath created fog onto the mirror and he raised his left hand to draw a cloud in it. He chuckled at his childish antics and walked out.
