Ellie's POV.
My eyes slowly opened to rays of light surrounding me.
I groaned at the sudden bright light and shifted.
"WAIT WHAT?!" I shouted as I quickly sat up, taking in my surroundings.
I laid on a single pale blue bed placed in the middle of a room covered with white marble tile, a machine on my left stood close by me and so did a couple of green chairs..
One chair occupied.
"You're awake." Cole states.
"FINALLY." He adds grinning from ear to ear.
"I-"
"Wait let me get the nurse." He hushed as he quickly ran out the plain coloured door.
I let out a breath as I tucked a fallen strand of hair behind my ear.
Why do I have to be so extra and get myself into a hospital?
I looked down, taking in every detail the white marble tile would offer.
The door clicked and my eyes shot up to join with a familiar blonde haired woman.
"Ellie! Soo good to see you!" Sarcasm laced in every word.
"Good to see you too Eren." I grumbled as I remembered how she left me on the first day.
She flipped her hair behind her shoulder and examined her matt acrylic nails.
"Anyways, enough chit-chat, you know why I'm here right?" She spat out as she slowly but surely made herself to a green chair.
I nodded remembering what my father had said before I passed out.
"I'm not going back until I'm ready." I said as I crossed my arms across my chest.
She groaned as she shot up and held her hand on my arm.
"Look, your father is doing what he can okay! You can't just ignore him all the time! You have to go to the anniversary! You look pathetic. Just forgive him already." She shouted, my eyes going wide as she resulted to shaking me whilst she spoke.
I laughed.
She gave me a curious look and my eyes turned cold.
"I will never forgive that guy who calls himself a man." I said with disgust.
She looked at me for a while and then something unexpected.
The sound of a slap echoed through the room as Eren breathed in and out.
I stood still in shock as Eren gathered herself together and left.
Around seconds after Cole came back in, this time a worried look laced on his face.
He gulped not knowing what to say as he took a seat.
I snapped out of my past event as he said "The nurse is around the corner."
"It's okay." I said whilst standing up.
"Ellie! Sit back down!"
"I've got to go.." I rushed as I quickly ran out the door and through the halls.
I was a fast runner which indeed was my luck.
I had already gotten about half way to the exit and Cole shouting my name was flooding the whole building.
I heard him coming close as a gust of wind brushed by me.
I spun to see an open window situated by a small desk.
Just in luck I thought as I resorted to climbing out of there before Cole got here.
The cold air surrounded me as I jumped out the window to have landed in a small alley way.
A navy blue car, in which I recognised was parked beside me.
"Good to see you're actually coming." He spoke as he blew out smoke from his lit cigarette.
I composed myself and mentally scolded myself for coming out this way.
"How did you know I would be out here?" I questioned taking a small step back.
"Oh honey, I have security in cars surrounding every possible exit this place has, you are just lucky I ended up parking outside this exit."
"Don't call me that." I spat.
"Oh flower, I'm your father I can call you that if I want."
"Now get in the car."
Doing as he said I opened the door of the polished vehicle and sat inside.
"This is going to be a long ride." I muttered as the old man sat on the other chair next to me.
"Next stop, home." He cheered as he drove us out of the alley way and onto the main road, security following up with us.
