Chapter 1

You sit on your chair attentively listening to Vlad, your classroom teacher, talk about the importance of surveying scenes before executing rescue missions. You're finally in your dream academy. It was a struggle at first, especially convincing your father that you wanted to become a hero instead of inheriting the family business. You are F/N L/N, a first year student in UA, you are the son of the renowned entrepreneur who owns Belgani Industries, the leading company for automobile production.

"Alright class, summer vacation starts this weekend so I expect everyone here to be present first thing Friday in the morning so we can proceed to the training camp."

The announcement Vlad made was met with an explosion of cheers from your classmates, even you can't deny your excitement.

"Also this time you will be facilitated by the top 3 students this year. Come on in students."

The noise disappeared as soon as the top 3 students entered the roon. Your heart brimmed with excitement as you see Deku, Todoroki Shoto, and Tokoyami.

"Oh my, shoto is even more handsome in person."

You overheard one of your classmates admiring Shoto and true enough, it is undeniable. You kept staring at Shoto, his cool demeanor shrouding the introductions made by Deku and Tokoyami. Your trance was interrupted as your hear Shoto speak.

"I shall do my best to impart the wisdom and knowledge I learned in my years in the academy."

His deep voice only made you feel weaker as you cracked a smile listening to him. Your eyes met, and perhaps it was just you imagining things, but you could've sworn you saw him smile at you. You shifted your gaze towards the window, trying to hide your red face.

Although it was years ago, you remember playing with Shoto in your room when you were kids. Endeavour and your father had a business partnership, and meetings would often be held in your mansion. As a result, every weekly meeting meant that you get to see Shoto.

"Why did he smile at me? Could he have remembered me even after all these years?"

Class finally ended and you decided to go to the cafeteria to grab a snack before heading home. As you step outside the classroom you see Shoto leaning against the wall, with three female students swooning over him for an autograph and a photo. When Shoto sees you he smiled once more. You can feel your heart climbing up your throat. You quickly dashed towards the hallway when you heard Shoto call out your name.

"F/N! Wait."

"Shoto senpai. You.. know who I am?"

"Ofcourse, we use to play together when we were kids. I was surprised to hear when you enrolled here, I honestly thought you were going to inherit your father's business."

"I decided to dissapoint my father by wanting to be a hero. I never wanted to do business anyway."

You still can't believe your talking to Todoroki Shoto. Apart from being your first friend, he was also your first crush. You wanted to tell him that seeing him as a first year student on TV in the UA olympics inspired you to be a hero, if you weren't too socially awkward.

"I apologize for not reaching out to you soon F/N. School has been a lot challening now that I'm graduating. How about I treat you something sweet? I remember the two of us sneaking into your kitchen for some chocolates when we were little. I know you like sweets."

Your face turned red and and you covered your head with your hoodie. You know what's about to come. Extreme emotions causes your quirk to activate automatically, whether it's happiness, sadness, anger, or even embarrassment. You can feel your fangs grow and your scales appearing around your face.

Quirk: Snake Hybird
Quirk Description: Can do anything a snake can do.
Quirk drawback: Transforms into the hybrid form when subjected to extreme emotions. Continuous usage of venom causes fatigue.
Attacks: Snake Bite
- Bites victims using his fangs, injecting lethal venom
Weapons: Clawed Gauntlets
- Coats Gauntlets with venom and scratch enemies
Skills: A skilled martial artist, specializes in Karate

"Sorry, I can't help myself. This is embarassing."

Shoto holds your chin and tilts your head upwards, staring at your serpentine eyes.

"I think you look amazing."

You and Shoto made your way to the city and into a coffee shop where you ate cake and reminisced about your childhood. A friendship was rekindled as you laughed and teased Shoto, who, despite all these years is still ever so serious.

"F/N. I wanted to give you this."

Shoto took out his school bag and gave you an All Might action figure.

"I remembered accidentally burning your toy when we were kids. It was a time when I discovered my quirk. I never got to see you again after that day so I never got the chance to replace it."

At first you think Shoto is joking so you laugh, but you knew Shoto isn't the one to make jokes so you smile at the fact that after all these years, he would remember something so trivial.

"I'll treasure this and keep it away from you so you won't burn it again."

You made a joke that made Shoto smile and you felt that strange feeling again. Time flew with your time with Shoto when you realized it was almost sunset. You head outside the café.

"Well this was nice Shoto. I should be going now."

"We're going to see each other again right?"

"Ofcourse, at the training camp silly."

"Oh right. Training Camp. Sure."

Shoto scratched his head, and you seem to notice he was flustered. You said goodbye and was walking home, holding the action figure in your hand. Your heart was filled with both uncertainty and bliss. You don't understand the feeling, but you liked it.

You decided to jog after reaching the exlusive neighborhood where you lived. After all, you were still in PE uniform. It was getting dark. You had a feeling of being watched as the sun dissapeared from the horizon.
