Why do we want to be loved? And everyone is included, so don't kid youself for a second and just aknowledge it. You want to be loved, but why?
Seems to be my question these days. We want validation, we want someone to hold us and let us go only when we are cured of our traumas and sad feels. But how often does that happen, cause from what I have seen most people leave relashionships more damaged than they were before. So what makes us keep coming back for more?
Healing. We heal together. And maybe we leave with new wounds, but the old ones are better. We keep getting hurt in this life anyway so why wouldn't we risk a little more pain in the name of love? It seems like a fair trade at first. Validation, love, healing and support in exchange for some sleepless nights and crying sessions.
How long does it take to heal from a separation between us and the person we gave our heart to. Does it take another healer or can we heal ourselves? And in that case, is healing really what we crave for?
