"Taehyung?"
Jungkook grabbed Taehyung's arm to make the older stop.
Jungkook watched as Taehyung's eyes were stone when it looked at him.
"Oh, it's you."
Taehyung said with no emotion.
Jungkook looked at "Taehyung" because whoever this was wasn't him. His eyes didn't shine nor was his aura loving. It felt like his heart died. Taehyung was shattered and had so many fortresses built to make sure no one would see he once loved someone.
Love broke Taehyung and Jungkook knew who did that- because it was him.
Jungkook played with Taehyung's feelings like it was a bouncy ball. He would constantly crush it like a dead leaf and then killed it.
He killed Taehyung's heart.
"Taehyung- please I'm sorry."
Jungkook muttered.
It had been years and Jungkook finally recognized he couldn't live without Taehyung. Yet, the time Jungkook realized Taehyung gave up.
"Sorry? Really? You're joking right?"
Taehyung laughed so bitterly.
"Taehyung? What happened to you...?"
Jungkook has the nerve to ask.
"What happened?!"
Taehyung snapped.
Jungkook saw the tears form in Taehyung's eyes as he ripped his arm off of Jungkook's grasp.
"You manipulated me and used me as a tool to get to my best friend. Jungkook you acted like you loved me and I foolishly fell in love with you! Don't you understand that? You played me, killed me even."
Taehyung violently shook with anger.
Taehyung took a heavy breath before continuing.
"I-I c-an't love any-more because yo-u tau-ght me no o-ne could love m-e."
Taehyung let out a pained cry and fell to his knees.
Jungkook looked at what he had done and only spectated the older boy as he wept. He knew if he hugged him he'd cry even more and possibly punch him.
So all he did was run away, while leaving Taehyung alone again to drown in his own tears and voices. This is how to truly kill someone- loving them and then leaving without a word.
And unfortunately leaving was the only thing Jungkook knew because he believed he was never brave enough to stay.
