"Jungkook your not fooling anyone."
Yoongi said as he laid down on the couch.

"What are you talking about hyung?"
Jungkook looked at him with questionable eyes.

"You love the boy. It's not that complex."
Yoongi concludes and closed his eyes ready to just sleep again.

"Yoongi who are you-"

"Your not serious right? Who else am I talking about- Taehyung's dog?"
Yoongi muttered.

"Well yeah I love Tannie-"

"Jungkook your depleting my braincells from fully growing. Please talk to me when you can speak common sense."

The younger boy sighed and left the living room, he was bringing some water and food to Taehyung's dorm. He wanted to hang out with his favourite hyung anyway. But since they both lived in different dorms he had to walk quite far. But for Taehyung, Jungkook would do it.

He never knew why, but apparently Yoongi said it was love. However, Jungkook didn't know anything about that so called love. So he never thought much of it. Until he opened the door, and saw Taehyung's body and face covered in bruises and tears.

"Tae!?"
Jungkook cried out and caught the shaking boy in his arms.

He had never seen such a broken expression on his face and Jungkook saw that everything in his apartment was broken. He looked at the older's hands and saw that it was bleeding and covered in cuts from glass.

"Taehyung, hey." Jungkook pauses and brought Taehyung's face up to his so he faced him. "I don't know what happened, but I'm going to take care of you okay?"
Jungkook explained.

Taehyung sobbed still, but it was quiet. He leaned his head on Jungkook's shoulder and the younger can physically feel his heart break. He never wanted Taehyung to be sad- so he vowed to always bring him joy.

Jungkook held the older's shoulder and brought him up. Jungkook let Taehyung use him as a person to put his weight onto. As they began to go to the bathroom, Jungkook noticed glass shards on the ground. So he picked up Taehyung bridal-style and carried him to the bathtub.

Jungkook unrolled Taehyung's sleeves which had more wounds and couldn't hold back his own tears. So now both were crying.

Jungkook scrubbed the blood off the others' arms, hands, and legs. He washed Taehyung's hands and carefully took out each glass shard that were all over his palms. Jungkook didn't realize that Taehyung had stopped weeping and how he was the only one that had tears flooding out his eyes.

Jungkook's shoulders quivered as he cried taking care of this fragile Taehyung. He was scared because he doesn't know what's bothering Taehyung. The amount of scars and wounds the older had terrified Jungkook.

Taehyung leaned his forehead onto Jungkook's own forehead and wiped away his tears silently. Taehyung felt more misery when Jungkook cried- the younger never cried. But when Jungkook does cry, Taehyung knew it was about something significant.

Taehyung then learned Jungkook saw him as remarkably precious.

Once Jungkook was done treating Taehyung, the younger gazed at Taehyung's face. Too many dried-out tears, too many emotions, and too much hurt in those eyes. Jungkook reaches out and lovingly wiped all the tears from Taehyung's cheeks. He had copied the same action Taehyung did to him moments before.

Even if he already had too much water in his eyes to even see properly.

"Yo-u need to re-st. I will br-ing yo-u there."
Jungkook stuttered obviously crushed.

Jungkook carried Taehyung bridal-style again and brought him to his own bed. Tannie was sleeping soundly at the corner and Jungkook found it a little peaceful.

He placed the other down and cuddled him protectively. Jungkook smiled sadly and kissed Taehyung's forehead in an adoring way.

Jungkook was surprised when that loving action felt so right, perhaps he never needed to know what love is, he has the personification of love right in his arms anyway. Jungkook brought Taehyung closer, just to make sure the older wouldn't leave him or fall apart.

"Kookie- my frie-nd k-illed hims-elf tod-ay and I was mad so I threw all the glass."
Taehyung mumbled out and then started to cry again.

"Tae- no, love. You can get through this, and I promise to be here for you. Just don't hu-rt yours-elf okay?"
Jungkook tightened his grip on the other and made sure to not let go.

"The bruises were from my other friend who said it was m-y fa-ult he di-ed."
Taehyung broke down again and Jungkook was in disbelief.

"No it's not you. How could it be you? You're the reason why people wanna live."
Jungkook said.

"Who would wanna live because of me?"
Taehyung asked bittersweetly.

"Someone called Jeon Jungkook who's currently hugging Kim Taehyung."
Jungkook told and cuddled Taehyung to sleep.

Jungkook protected Taehyung that day, and Taehyung recovered from all that pain the following years. The two had deeply cherished one another throughout the whole time and had started to form a sickeningly sweet romance. A few years into their relationship Jungkook popped the big question and Taehyung only shouted yes. The younger loved saying fiancé it rolled out beautifully with Taehyung's name.

And Jungkook was still shocked at his younger self when he said he hadn't fallen in love with the older. But right now, all Taehyung needed to do was walk down that wedding aisle scattered in flower petals. Jungkook's sudden thought was that- he could never stop falling in love with Jeon Taehyung.
