Chapter 3 : Dark past

His fist is getting more and more closer to my body, because my reflexes are fast, I was able to put my arms on it to block the hit

But surprisingly, before he could even land a hit on me, Leif appeared on his side and pushed Estevan with his shoulders

Everything happened so fast. Estevan was blown away.

"Whew, that was close" Leif's ability is sure handy. I am not wrong by choosing him as a companion.

"The army is here. Let's go, Anuk is waiting" The army is still not here but I'm sure they'll be here any second, I felt their presence getting closer and closer

Leif nodded. We are about to go up but Estevan spoke. "Why can't you just accept your responsibiliy? Don't you get the point that no one aside you can inherit the throne? Royalty runs in your blood, but how could you not care about your country even a little bit?" He stood up. His Comrades who are unconscious earlier is now awake and trying to stand up "Ozenvard is where we grew up, where we learned to fight, where we are ready to die for"

I became serious. I picked my katana on the ground and pointed it at them "If you are that determined to die... Then I have no choice"

"Apxyn don't!" Leif tried to stop me so I looked at him sharply

They took a step back. My katana started to be covered by black wind. The angry I am, the darker it gets

Yes, I am angry. How dare they push me to the limit, I held back as much as I can earlier but this is how far my patience can take. I already said no so I won't, but they still didn't stop. This is enough reason for me to use my full power, it is a waste of time but they started this so let me finish it.

Black wind covered the whole area, strong energy that comes from the katana is overflowing. I was about to release it and slash them all in one hit but a defining sound stopped me from doing so.

The army is here and they shouted "STOP" in unison

I calmed my self down and put my katana back to its sheathe "Leif, leave with Anuk. I have something to do"

"R-roger that" and he vanished

I faced the army and they are tying up the Ozens "Lady Apxyn, explain this trouble" A knight asked me with full off authority

I heaved sigh "They are pushing me to be the next ruler of Ozenvard"

"They did?" His left eyebrow raised

I didn't bothered answering him. I walked towards Estevan and the others that are now tied up "You all got lucky because the army came, if not, you are all probably sliced in pieces by now. Bother me by it again next time, and I swear, I won't waste any second to cut neck and split your head from your body" A long threat with a low voice
